@dice10ten I removed the rear exhaust studs from the head so I could move the header around without hitting them. Once gone I was able to thread the EGR pipe in but left it loose so I could still rotate and move the header around. I was able to bent and force the whole header forwards and down onto the front studs. I then got the gasket lined up and started the front bolts which torqued the whole thing down onto the head bring the EGR pipe with it. I then threaded the rear exhaust studs back in.
@Lowfategg Also the exhaust stud by the EGR port is a PITA. I had to cut down the exhaust stud a little to get it to clear the nut.
You will definitely need a swivel ratchet style wrench to get the exhaust stud nuts and a cut down ?3/4? wrench (to clear the brake lines and master cylinder) to torque the EGR flare nut after you get the header bolted down.
Im having same problem with the aftermarket headers i installed. EGR PIPE WONT REACH! ....any tips?

Looks like a PITA!
Congrats, though. That must have been a satisfying job.
