  • Yup, don't have to worry about SHARKS. YouTube...oahusquid....check out the HUGE tiger shark my son and I ran into while spearfishing in Hawaii.

  • what time of the year was this? were you guys all freediving?

  • @500stick - I think this was the 2nd week in June. We all Freedive.............. All the time. No Scuba - Ever.

  • I nail carp here in PA as well.... what do you do with them when you get them? You don't eat the nasty things do you? lol

  • @StrengthFromAbove83 - I have some european buddies that eat them, otherwise they go as fertilizer. They are awesome for your garden and plants.

    They are Nasty!

  • @whopperhead do you chop them up for fertilizer or bury them whole? lol

  • freshwater spearfishing looks fun! I have never done it before only saltwater.

  • @TheRuan1001 - Saltwater is BEST, but we don't have to worry about sharks or being eaten by any other creature. We have fun!

  • What I would love to do is let you run around and try to spear you through your head - that would be a challenge and it would save the fish, at least we would have less evil people like you on this planet!

  • @zoof30 - Not really that evil, you just don't understand the destruction Carp do over here in the states. I would LOVE for all carp to be sent over to your lakes, rivers and streams. I would be cool with that.

  • @zoof30 dude its not evil he has a pupose for it and is doing what he loves dont critisize him for that

  • Hy there! ??? Cool freshwater video!! Could you give more details about the soundtrack??

  • @ggj1977 - It is from the band SEETHER - song is called: Country Song

  • Have you ever thought of pole spearing these guys? You would get wayy more at a time and it would be more of a challenge possibly. They seem to let you get right up to them, so might as well, no?

  • @alawaiman - I have used a pole spear on them. It was not my intention to spear carp that day, but there were lots around. Plus, carp are very skittish. We have to dive and move slowly and smoothly. If you move Towards them- they usually take off. I can not find my slip tip for my Pole Spear - otherwise i would use it more.

  • Good stuff I used a 48 seahornet free shaft .

  • @krazy45cat - Free Shaft? meaning NO LINE?

  • @whopperhead Yes sir .Diving in saltwater I hang above the ledges or rock piles and shoor down .Been doing it for 30yrs. I also make my own bands 3/4 inch surgical band "macho Bands" I stopped using a line years ago when i shot a 60lb amberjack .it tried to ite me up. I also keep a kill knife on my speargun .We dive from 25 ft to 85/90ft

  • Those were gravid females - good selection! The one that swam away @ 2:59 puts a tear in my eye. :)

  • @EdgunUSA - @ 2:59 I shot 1 carp (still on my spear) then I panned over to a much Larger one that came into view. The one I shot did not get away. The one at 2:28 (?) got hit with the spear and it pulled out. I only had 1 ban on my gun.

  • @whopperhead I don't want to hear any of your excuses - you should have thrown your knife at her. LOL. Oh yeah, and I'm sending you an email right now.
