I want my hair to grow really long over summer vacation because I'm tyred of micro braids! I have really thin hair that goes about less than halfway down my neck.... I am planning on using aphogee but idk if 2 months is enough time but, do you think I'll be able to grow it below my sholders in 10 weeks?!?
I got the shamp for damage - 2min recon and the green tea recon. Tried all 3 and also tried just using 1 along w/ my old products. My hair has become so dry. i am wearing wigs trying to grow out a bob so i dont apply heat to my hair.- its soaking up any moisturizer-have tried shea butter w/ olive oil - hair is still so dry - its breaking off-aphogee is not for my hair
@lolamac7 It is a strong product... and not for everyone. If you watch some of my newer videos, you will see that I had to change up our routine as well... I alternate between protein/moisture wash weeks... I only use the Aphogee 2 minute once per month now... and sorry you had so much breakage.... Have you tried using the Silk Elements MegaSilk moisturizing treatment? I use it EVERY week...
@lolamac7 I had the same thing happen to me because no one warned me. Luckily I caught it before I had any real damage, but it takes a while to work that moisture back into you hair. I used the naked honey almond moisture whip shampoo and conditioner. I'm telling you as soon as you use the conditioner your hair feels like BUTTER and you can literally feel the moisture incorporating back into your hair, this along with hot olive oil treatments, and kemi Oyl my hair is back, better than ever!
@casagrandecats Which treatment are you referring to? ... the hard protein treatment?? I only used it once on her hair.
The products I used while doing this method (weekly) were: Aphogee Shampoo for Damaged Hair, Aphogee 2 minute Reconstructor, (leave-ins) Aphogee Pro-vitamin Conditioner, Aphogee Keratin & Green Tea Restructurizer, Keracare foam wrap, and Chi Silk Infusion.
This was TOO much protein, and I had to modify. To see current regimen watch Protein & Moisture wash week

yes... when I was doing it... to see our current regimen, watch my "protein wash week" and "moisturizing wash week" videos.... I would only lightly spray it with the keracare oil sheen...

Too much protein from all of the Aphogee can be harsh... It worked beautifully on my daughter's hair up until about week 15.... then we had to make some modifications... See my other videos for updates... Thanks for posting!

That is a really hard question because it just depends on how your hair responds... If you watch my updated videos, you will see that we have to switch between moisturizing weeks and protein weeks.... Just listen to your hair... Good luck on your hair journey, and thanks for watching! : )

That turned out good. Her hair definitely looks healthier..given it wasn't horrible before either. But that Aphogee Regimen really made a good difference. I loved it! Keep it up and her hair will be down her back next year!!!
I am not sure.... but my daughter is not transitioning. She still gets relaxers, but only every 13 weeks or so...
My hair is completely natural, and the products worked o.k. for me... please look at my updates video to see what changes we made in our regimen though... I will be posting even more updates in the near future : )

Thanks... What setting did you have your blow dryer on? I find that our hair does better if it is on medium heat and the hooded dryer is set to medium heat... Let me know!!!

alright ill ask my mom and see what she says alright because her hair is really long and we have a backyard pool and think she uses a cap but uses some kind of uhm..plastic stocking cap over it lol i dunno relly try it cuse her hair never falls out.........sad i never inherited the long hair...

I did as well...I bought everything but the Kera Care hair sheen...I started using it this past Saturday and its amazing already...I have not had a perm in the last 7 months and those products, along with my ceramic irons makes it look like I have a fresh perm...I am thankful for coming across her channel...

Swim caps are not ment to keep your hair dry from the water although they do protect your hair a.k.a. deff African American hair from damage.
They are basically used to reduce drag and resistance for competive swimming.
