"I ask him ro remember his card, and place it on the table.."

  • Thanks a lot Jim,sorry i ve disappeared lately but theres really a lot on my mind right now :)

We ll talk soon,i hope all is well :)

  • Nice trick and simple as well.

  • Thanks mate! :)

  • Its in his book Smoke and mirrors page 13! goodluck i think its 6times better!

post a vid if you handle it!

it rocks fo sho do it myself all the time:)

  • Excuse me!

    What?

The effect are so different that it is beyond me how in the world they can be similar.

shure, in method I can see that somehow some guy who has just downloaded smoke and mirrors from some torrent site, might think they look a bit simirar because of the elmsley in HOTC and the jordan in KK. Shure, queens are used in both effects, and the 3 as 4 method is used in both.

I have no idea what you mean as the effect is entirely different

    Please explain, Robbietione

  • I must say i havent yet found the time to check Smoke and Mirrors out..so i dont have an opinion on this :S

  • John bannon - heart of the city:) is same effect but much better search for it:)

  • Will do mate,i must say i havent seen this by John Bannon...

    Thanks for the tip!

    Cheers :D

  • @Robbietione but the Bannon trick is different from this one. This is more like a variation of Hofsinzer Ace Problem (but not using the aces).

  • the video skips at 2:00 minutes (watch his hand) so he could be stopping the camera and switching the cards

  • My friend although its actually an honor for me that you think that :P i must say that theres no need to do that!

This is a very well known trick by Darwin, and without willing to brag i must say that i ve uploaded a lot of tricks here that are insanely more difficult than this one!!

(this is really not a hard trick, although i probably shouldnt say that, but anyway!)

The skipping is just my lets say not-all-that-cool camera :P

Anyway i hope you enjoyed it anyway! :D

    Cheers,

    John

  • yes, it's the same, probably the method is diferent, but it has the same finish...mmm..

the trick is called "viaje insospechado"

and you can found it on Cartomagia Fundamental...

  • Thanks a lot mate...always happy to find new stuff!I ll definitely search for it :D

    Cheers!

  • Wow. You are VERY smooth! Ive been doing magic for over 3 years and I had to take a double take to see how this was done. Even staring your hands down like daggers made it extremely difficult to read your slights. Keep up the practice! You have a gift ;P

  • Thank you very much for your nice comment man!

    Cheers!

  • Great trick being that I'm only an amateur magician I did not see what happened and all I saw you do was that elmsley count. Amazing work! Keep it up!

  • Thanks a lot mate, glad you enjoyed it!

  • One of my favorite opener
