Also in what version of mario is this the negitive world? I have the wii ROM and I have to jump through the top of the pipe on the second level. and when I succeed, I just go to a water level that loops untill you run out of time.

The text (although pixelated) says movie playback stopped. Its from the TAS (tool assisted speed run).

yeah, i think this is the famicon version, since it has an actual "ending" they counted it as a speed run. The link to the TAS video would explain it.

they used the rom to put a flag pole at the end that way you would keep going on finding cool levels until you get to -9 then you automaticly die.

It's the FDS SMB1 glitch, not NES glitch, actually. it's the negative levels glitch. They exist in NES version, but are repeating, where as the FDS he was able to finish.
