Salinger however I think she has adapted it to be about a man who falls in love with a woman who's only interested in a physical relationship who can no longer take and in the end kills her. However that's just my interpretation I could be horribly wrong.

Personally I see the location and the interactions between the blond and the man as the story that takes place in the lyrics.. Not everything has to be (or should be even) a 100% literal re-enactment of the song lyrics

@BellaDolce makes me think you're Italian in which case I'd explain this to you in Italian, but!...I'm rather positive every character in the video has blue eyes and I believe the motif of them in the beginning and end of is implying how different people view Elise. I also think they parallel the weather outside nicely, the whole cold turbulent blue reflecting Elise's emotions.
