@kreppssam its in 720p/16:9. Can easily be switched over to a 4:3/960p format.

@X5GEE just looked at the tech specs I didn't realize it had 16:9 formats. sucks that it doesn't have the 720p 60p, that's a big selling point on these cameras for me.

@bendikn I've done a lot of research since I made that comment, and I also have become a GoPro partner. This one is HD, it's just not 1080p 30p. It has a 4:3 HD res at 960p (which I THOUGHT was completely square, but it's just 4:3). It can also shoot in 16:9 at 720p 30p, and several other SD modes.

The best thing about the full HD Hero is that it shoots 720p 60p though definitely the top reason to buy for me.
