  • Thank you thank you thank you for posting this. I have been jonesen for sweet water for YEARS!!!!!!!

  • i remember i used to call dudley my best friend at pain in the grass..remember that dudley?

  • RAWK IS BACK!!!!

CROCODILE CAFE JUNE 15th 2007!!! SWEETWATER REUNION SHOW!!

  • do u know if dudley taft will be part of the reunion?

  • Check their website sweetwaterrocks dot com.I don't see him listed anywhere, so, I'm pretty sure it's just Credo, Paul, Adam and Cole.

  • Hello. Dudley Taft here. Yeah, those guys did not ask me to be a part of the reunion show. I would love to rock some of the tunes off the first and second record! You can check out my current band OmniVoid here on YouTube or on myspace... ~~Rock On~~

  • So, are you still in Seattle, Dudley? I live in L.A. now, so, obviously I won't be attending any of the 3 shows at the Croc.

  • Yes, I am still in Seattle.

  • Dudley! Are you coming to the show anyway? OmniVoid rocks!! Seattle will always be!!

  • sweet water RAWK! especially before they became a 4 piece... also, SGM, half of the band before they became sweet water. tho, harder to find...

  • Oh, another SGM fan! Yeah, I remember them with Chris Quinn on lead guitar. Saw them in Tacoma with Mother Love Bone in Jan. '90, and, sad to say as a major MLB fan, Shot Gun Mama totally KILLED that night!

  • Shot Gun Mama! never new that... sounds like u went to a killer show! i never saw either one live...

  • Yeah, when they (SGM) did their 1 album back in '88, they were pretty basic and juvenile, but they evolved in a major way by the time I saw them with MLB. Adam was just incredible as a frontman! They also had a 3-song self-released demo cassette that year that I wish I still had.

  • really? i didn't know adam ever fronted SGM! makes since... i think i may have heard one of those songs once actually. didn't really sounds like the SGM from agression... guess that's why they changed their name to sweetwater, huh? the 2 bands are so different!

  • Yeah, those guys (Adam, Credo, Cole & Pablo) have been making music together, well, at least since AGGRESSION, and that was 1988! They definitely matured from AGGRESSION to the 3-song cassette from '90 w/ Chris Quinn on lead guitar, but, they rocked much harder once Quinn had been replaced by Dudley Taft a year later and they became Sweet Water. Inever cared too much for post-Taft Sweet Water though. Still can't stand SUPERFRIENDS.

  • i agree! once taft left, it really wasn't the same sweet water. pretty close, but something felt missing i guess. tho i thought suicide was better than superfriends! what did adam do in SGM? that wasn't him on lead vocals, was it?

  • Don't care for SUICIDE either. Not sure what role, if any, Adam had on AGGRESSION, but he was the frontman when I saw them live with MLB in '90.If you like Taf-era Sweet Water then, you probably would've liked SGM in 1990, which was the same band, just with a different name and different lead guitarist.

  • yes, i don't think adam was on aggression... i just saw your review on amazon for their atlantic release. i had that new rage album and it really did RAWK!!! did u ever get ahold of agression? i just saw that there is the album available on eBay. just search under music: SGM. so when u saw them live in '90 with adam singing, how did he do on songs like power and mrs. brown? i can't imagine his unique sweetwater style voice handling that original SGM harsh vocal style! just curious...

  • hey! check out the SGM you tube. search for SxGxMx. i think this is the version of SGM that u saw live in '90!

  • This was a truly great band to listen to. I missed out on them unfortunately but Tommy McMullin was always talking about them. Tommy eventually snagged the bass player some years later for a band that only lasted a few months. I would give anything to be able to ask these guys who the song 'King Of '79'was about. Some say it was Andy Wood but I think it might have been written about Brad Sinsel.
