Nowadays it seems that all of these young boy and girl singers go entirely over the top trying to impress people by hitting the power high notes in whatever song they sing. But what they actually do in the process is ruin a good tune by squeezing out all the beauty! Every one of them should be made to listen to how a master does it such as Englebert Humperdinck. I liked Bing, Elvis, Sinatra, Luciano and Como but EH simply has to have the most beautiful voice ever~~~ bar none!...Great post loc139

Back in the 70s I was in high school. I used to save my pocket money to buy his records. Used to be those big black records back then. I think I had every single album he ever made. And I was so in love with him, by the time I was 14 yrs I swore I had to find him and marry him ... LOL ... now my daughter finds that story so silly and funny.
