Cool light :). Your "programmed start" light is actually a rapid start light. Programmed start is a type of electronic start method that preheats the cathodes before firing the bulb (so it's basically an electronic preheat start).
@jimster586 No problem :). Oh, and that Watch Dog starter is meant to protect ballasts from EOL lamps. That red button on the top pops out when the starter realizes that it's trying to start a lamp over and over with no luck (I'm not sure how this works exactly).
@jimster586 u know what tyoday i got an old light fixture that has been sitting i my garage for 6 years, so then today i took it apart, disconnected the wires and cleaned it. then i put everything back together by the diagram on the ballast and got a cord. (in the future i will ground it.) the cord was from a 15 watt lamp that wasnt used. and the ballast is rated for 15-20 watts bulb so then my dad checked the connections and when he plugged it in and it worked. its goin into my room
very nice lights. program start light is working quite nicely. all four prongs still look clean. good tour of that light. it works very well. the time was worthwhile. it lights up the cart very well.
