2. Predictability

3. They call them horror; yet how come I laugh at all of them...twisted reality? lol. Yeah, not one movie ever makes me jump

4. They carry on and on like pi

5. Usually character development sucks because just as you start to get to know one, they get their eye sockets dissolved or their cadaver gets eaten by mutant zombies

6. The gore is so artificially done, it makes ketchup look like blood

Dude, for some random thoughts, that was damn funny. I think horror films *can* be good, it's just that most of them aren't. One of my favorites is the Omen, and maybe Omen 2.

nice use of the split screen effect. you see the banana dissapear in mid air but it gave it a mysterious feel to the vid. over all awsome video!!!

When it comes to splat-fests like the Saw or Friday the 13th movies, I couldn't agree more. But how about more ambitious films like 28 Days Later? It's a strong movie by most standards. True, it could be classified as thriller, sci-fi, or even suspense instead of horror, but it has zombies! And its director just won an Oscar the other night.

Talking of great movies . .check out 'Fool's Gold' with Matthew McConaughey. Action-packed, laugh-a -minute stuff. It was 2008, so I guess you may have already seen. Highly recommended !!

That's a great point. It's more about special effects than acting. To me, suspense is more appreciated than gore. Good video!
