The NJ Bill has the most restrictions than any other state. The way it is today I would say dont pass the bill, you are selling off the majority of sick people to please legisltors and cops. let it go down in a ball of flames.

Its stupid we are even debating this issue, the facts are in, the truth is out. We all know Cannabis is medicine, before 1937 all drug makers had whole product lines based on cannabis.

This bill is a joke and slaps all medical users in the face, Draft a new bill.

In a way I agree. On one hand, something is better than nothing, but on the other hand New Jersey is selling itself short.

Look what California did. They passed their medical law in 1995, and now in 2010 they are going to vote on all out legalization of marijuana.

With the current "safe guards" and all the other brick walls in the New Jersey Bill, when you push for legalization, it's going to be much more of a struggle.

when Christie says the already extremely strict and limited NJ senate bill needs to be "strengthened" for him to sign it, thats code for he isnt going to sign it no matter what it says, just like NH gov Lynch and MN gov Pawlenty.

and the hypocrisy is Christie is campaigning saying he wants a "smaller gov, that doesnt intrude in your life". Well then what do you call personal drug prohibition then Christie ?

"strengthened" ? the mmj bill out of the new jersey senate is already the most strict and limited mmj bill of any state, if passed as is.

clearly none of these guys ever read the bill or even looked into it. the senate already disqualified "severe/chronic pain"( migraine headaches). this bill already disqualifies 75% of the new jersey people who could use and benefit from mmj.

Medical marijuana will not stop the drug war or drug war related violence that exists today and continues to get worst. Perhaps we just need to get to the point where every single inch of the populated USA needs to have gang wars and people being killed everyday before the government wakes the fuck up. We are only wasting time and resources trying to beg and grovel for years on end, committee after committee, only to get a heavily restricted Medical Marijuana bill that is essentially worthless, which will no doubt happen under Christie.
