As stated in the name of the video, the rc car model he used is from Tamiya- model name is DF-03ra MAKE SURE YOU SEE THE (ra) otherwise DF-03 is a dune buggy. And yes you have to convert it, more like just dont put the front components in =D have fun out there brothers

that is the best mk2 shell i have seen for an rc car, i have been looking for one of these for years now and can only find poor quality mk1`s, you should look at the hpi wheels they look identical to the 1`s that look like minilites, then it would look almost like the real thing
