  • I remember seeing this show in the early 70s and it was dated by then with the malt shop setting . That America had ceased by a decade. Talented cast, who had stale scripts from probably 1970 on.

  • A pair of penny loafers, a pair of Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star sneakers, and a pair of wing tips.

    Robby, Chip, and Ernie.

    Oh, yeah, and Uncle Charlie ROCKED the TV on that show! :)

  • No announcer? They had ALL KINDS of openings during this era

  • @Landaux : I could've SWORN they had an announcer for the title, Fred Mac and Demarest!

  • @recordman64 - you're right, they did earlier on. I believe the announcer was gone by 1967/1968.
