We don't do things like this, everything is humane, and yes we do brand out cattle and all that stuff but it is done humanely, when a cow gets sick with pink eye or pneumonia she is promptly treated. Ive learned everything from my dad who is a third generation farmer, and i can assure you our cattle are treated well and given excellent living conditions and food.

Okay, I've been to quite a few dairy farms. They aren't all bad and cruel. The ones I've been to are nice. There's a huge barn where the cows go to be milked, or stay when it's cold, but they are let out in the pasture to graze, or eat hay. They were all healthy, and not sick. Also, I live in Alberta. So maybe that makes a difference. Cattle here have a pretty nice life up until slaughter, and even then slaughter houses here aren't like that.

my friend's parents run a dairy farm they do everything by hand there cows have never been mistreated or harmed
when a cow gets sick or old yes they do have their throats slit and they do get sent to slaughter houses but what this fails to show is how much this process hurts the cows owner
whenever a cow gets sent to slaughter my friend calls me and cries for hours over the phone it is like losing a family member for them

The meat and dairy industries may see our protests and introduce better standards in their production. @Knockturnall1 ok, is true, but the body does not process the nutrients the same way and u could get nutritional deficit cuz neither u cant eat egg, butter, milk and other things... but if it were that simple to get all your nutrition that way, then strict vegetarians wouldnt need to take Vitamin B12 supplements, as many doctors recommend, nor would they have deficiencies in other areas after years of following that type of diet. this is my opinion though...

Okay, I've been to quite a few dairy farms. They aren't all bad and cruel. The ones I've been to are nice. There's a huge barn where the cows go to be milked, or stay when it's cold, but they are let out in the pasture to graze, or eat hay. They were all healthy, and not sick. Also, I live in Alberta. So maybe that makes a difference. Cattle here have a pretty nice life up until slaughter, and even then slaughter houses here aren't like that.
