My boss once said that it's not the way that info is presented but the message that counts...I think, in an ideal world that might work but most humans react to how the message is presented.

@convictPKlol because the government shouldnt owe anyone money, the government already takes care of people, they become a liability on society, theres little incentive to work for yourself if you realize you dont have to. you said it yourself, statistically single parents are poor, that sucks, but part of that is often because they didnt try harder to improve their own situation. its a cold hard world out there, but you cant fix people by throwing money at them.

If society would cast some due shame on women who have children out of wedlock, (which with all the safety available today is hardly an accident) and would stop giving them benefits, we would see more complete families. I had only a mother- whose first husband passed away and whose second she divorced after he abused her consistantly. I do not see her life as I remember it (she is deceased) as anything criminal. It's not that single mothers are bad per se, it's that without 2 parents it is way harder to raise a child especially if the child is left alone while the single parent is working and no father figure around to help with discipline.

Wow Ann was trying to get a discussion going and instead of asking provocative questions, they decided to turn it into a personal issue that Ann couldn't possibly be getting reputable information. I think you're missing the point that Ann IS bashing mothers who were brave enough to have a child by themselves after their baby's father left them. I think her stats are legit, but her entire argument was lost on me when she began to criticize mothers for choosing to have a child and placing no blame on the man. I've also never seen press on single parents doing a better job raising their kids. Often times they're portrayed in a very negative way.
This was sad to watch. Ann articulated every point backed up with statistics and facts, and they shot back at her with emotionally-fueled, inane comments. The audience is obviously going to root for the View hosts. Not only that, they interrupted Ann every time she attempted to make a valid point. This whole interview looks skewed to make Ann look crazy. All she is saying is that simply a child with both parents involved in his/her life will grow up better than a child with just one, a FACT.

I think most women don't plan on raising a baby alone. I don't blame a woman for doing her best to take care of her child and give them a beautiful life. I am thankful that I had both my parents together while I was growing up. It is unfortunate that people grow up without a parent, but maybe they can take that example when they're adults and make good decisions.

@convictPKlol because the government shouldnt owe anyone money, the government already takes care of people, they become a liability on society, theres little incentive to work for yourself if you realize you dont have to. you said it yourself, statistically single parents are poor, that sucks, but part of that is often because they didnt try harder to improve their own situation. its a cold hard world out there, but you cant fix people by throwing money at them.

I had only a mother- whose first husband passed away and whose second she divorced after he abused her consistantly. I do not see her life as I remember it (she is deceased) as anything criminal. My mother was one of the hardest working women I've ever known- and I find I respectfully disagree with Miss Ann Coulter's viewpoints.

I think most women don't plan on raising a baby alone. I don't blame a woman for doing her best to take care of her child and give them a beautiful life. I am thankful that I had both my parents together while I was growing up. It is unfortunate that people grow up without a parent, but maybe they can take that example when they're adults and make good decisions.

Excellent point; liberals champion victims fir the benefit of their liberal agenda only to cast them aside at their convenience. Using victims allows the liberals to make their point while not allowing people to make rational criticisms of the point at hand; any criticism is regarded as a personal attack on the victim and automatically dismissed.
Also, Joy Behar is so ridiculous, it's unbelievable. Whoopi, too. Build that straw man, and of course you can tear it down.
