my first love bought me this tape single and it reminds me of going round hers for dinner when her parents were out she was such a lovely girl i just wish i had never finished it with her she had something special others have never had the whole i say i say i say album dedicated to you donna may you allways be happy and maybe one day we will bumo into each other for a chat xx
Always loved Erasure, but this is the first time I've heard this song by them. It's by far their best, why is it so unknown compared to their other songs?
Been following Erasure since 1986, when the open for Duran Duran in Philadelphia. I have every album, bootleg, compilation, B-side that's in existence. They are still my favorite 24 years later!
I think one of the singles contained a version that had no lyrics at all. It was just pure music. I could be wrong however, but two doubts may incline to something true. I'll speak to my mother about this shortly and find out.
Hey there--It's a bit hard to come by, but you can get this vocal version on the "I Love Saturday EP" (EPCDMUTE166) and I'm sure it's available on one of the box sets. Still one of my all-time favorite b-sides. :) :) :) The other b-side is called "Ghost" and it's a fantastic song as well!
Hey, does anyone have the video to "I don't suppose" its on the B side of ship of fools, or could be chains of love, not sure but it is a really good song. Thanks guys
Brings tears to my eyes. What a beautiful song

I've seen Erasure live 4 times...what a fantastic cabaret they do.
Way back, I owned every 12 inch single Erasure ever produced...and one night at a party they were all stolen...gosh...the pain...

I love this period of Erasure- all those B-sides were magic(better than the A-sides, signof a great band): Ghost, Tederest Moments, Tragic.........

i've sold off most of my erasure cd singles over the years but still kept the 'I Love Saturday' EP one just because of this track - gorgeous.

Oh and the other b-side is called Truly, Madly, Deeply and it's a great song also, but nothing to do with the Savage Garden song ;)
