  • How many ibs of rock do you have total in the tank? Putting inventory together and at 1.5ibs per G you are looking at almost 100ibs or so...wondering if that is too much? Great videos thanks!

  • Filing off your tank does is not a water change. You must be knew to the hobby because you don't know much at all.

  • Thanks! Glad I could help and good luck!

  • Hey Jeff! just wanted to say I love the vids. I'm saving up for a RSM250 and I've found your vids to be very informative. keep up with the updates! Thanks!

  • I like the videos

  • Do you still have the Hydor Wave Deflector? I'm just setting up my RSM250 and trying to fix the current problem with moving the substrate in the left hand corner.

  • @modulok30 I do not. I took it off a couple of months ago. I did a couple of things that I think helped correct the problem your having. 1: I no longer have any filter media betwen the skimmer and the left pump. Only the divider filter and the foam over the pumps. 2: I lowered my overflow so that the sump is always full. This stopped the skimmer from continually needing to be adjusted and seems to have slowed the left pump down just a little. I messed with the direction abit and now its OK

  • The system is looking awesome! Glad to see the update and all is going well!

  • Hey Jeff love the videos and tank! Had a question on where you buy your fish? I live in Jacksonville too. Thanks for everything keep up the good work.

  • Hey @JeffsRedSeaMax250 I also as you know have this same tank and I just love your videos really. I also took out heater and I have a chiller going which adds up to my electric bill but oh well. I'm also glad that you said something about water evaporation, I learned this the hard way.

How much and how often do you do water changes nowadays?

What do you feed your coral with?

What salt mix do you use?

Have you had any experience with Seachem phosguard or phosban?

  • Keep the videos coming. The tank looks great. Nice job.

  • Tank looks good! It sounds like it's time to get an ATO. An ATO doesn't cost very much and is well worth every penny!
