Alfredo Kraus - O del mio dolce ardor. Gluck.

Es evidente que el Maestro Kraus se perdió varias veces, quitó coloraturas, agregó notas . Se nota la tensión porque el se da cuenta que está perdido. El pianista lo ayuda muy bien, pero se ve que el no puede leer por nerviosismo. La voz está milagrosamente brillante. Mal momento para un gran artista, y de los más grandes.

IT IS CLEAR MAESTRO KRAUS DID NOT INVENT NOTES OR CANCELLED COLORATURAS ON PURPOSE. HE IS LOST. A BAD MOMENT IN A GLORIOUS CAREER. THE VOICE IS MIRACULOUSLY YOUTHFUL.

@flaze3 Flaze, this is a maestro, a true master of his genre and fach. I can tell you now that O Del Mio Dolce is a piece that every young opera singer learns before they hit 20...his voice is just at the end of it's tether, and yet still better than most mainstream tenors today. I love Kraus, and while his tone is old, I still hear his beauty....technique is not something that dies.

@ProfTenor yo don't need to tell me about o del mio. I sung it myself in training. Now that I am a great international singer, i look back on it fondly.

And yes, Kraus was a great--there's no disputing that!

Ciertamente deberían haber dicho que es una "versión" del Aria de Gluck, aún así, sin coloraturas etc, me hagustado y creo que la ejecución es muy buena y con muy buen gusto,transmitiendo las emociones y matices de gran sutileza....pero es una "versión".

So , he is not good here ? It was the first time in his long life and career and probably the last.

if you're going to sing a song...regardless of language...make sure that you stay true to the nature of the song...also...amke sure you sing the right words...this is terrible.

Horrible entrega de esta Aria de Gluck. La destrozó totalmente. Acabó con las coloraturas que tiene la partitura y se inventó del coño unas que sólo sirvieron para estropear más esta rendición. Alfredo Kraus muy grande algunas veces y otras más, pésimo.

Perdonen que me meta pero a Alfredo Krauss yo le permito todo, se lo hemos permitido, todo porque un grande como el, que hizo con su voz lo que quiso., y mantuvo hasta los 70 años su bellisimo timbre, no habra otro.

Las llamadas arias antiguas por lo general son de tessitura baja y Kraus tenia ese Tabu con las notas graves. Me parece que le escuche o lei de el que decia que un tenor no debia INCLUSO vocalizar mas abajo de un MI. SU disco de Arie Antiche es asi... si no sube toda la pieza medio o hasta un tono, transporta ciertas notas. Prefiero esto a que baje la tessitura por no poder dar uun agudo. GRANDE KRAUS!!!!

Qué triste....cambia la letra, otro tiempo, otras notas, no creo que aún siendo el Legendario Kraus se pueda alterar a gusto una obra de Antología Italiana, magnífico en el Pour Mon Ame, en la Furtiva, en Estrellita, ETC, ETC...pero esto es totalmente triste. Recomiendo a Sumi Jo y a Hvorostovsky para esta aria tan hermosa!

Si bien es cierto que modificó ciertas notas de esta obra creo que al cantarla con 70 años se puede permitir ciertas licencias.

Después de haber cantado tanto tiempo y de saber lo que el respeto a una partitura conlleva, no creo justo hacer lo que hizo con esta pieza, como sea, después de haber hecho historia quién le puede reprochar. Simplemente es un punto de vista...saluti!

pienso igual, es más no me gustó mucho, hizo unos cambios que, para mí, destrozaron el aria, los 70 años no indicaban gran cosa, pues una aria antigua para el nivel de Kraus, que era excelente pese a su edad es relativamente suave, de hecho, las arias antiguas son para principiantes en el canto.
