Excellent video...I've ordered a whole jig kit..i'm going to start to fletch my own xbow arrows and i'm pretty excited about it...i was alittle nervous and not sure about doing it...but now after watching you..i feel alot more confident in doing it....thanks you for your viedo you've helped me out alot...Honkers48
you get a slow flight speed from having helical, but you get a more stable arrow for broad heads. it also makes a more forgiving arrow. I like helical no matter what I am doing.
Your videos are quite helpful, thanks. I have been frustrated with the adhesives available for fletching. I make heavy hickory arrows for use on an English longbow. These arrows get used hard. I found that a product called "shoe goo" actually makes an incredible fletching adhesive. It is somewhat difficult to apply, but it is very tough and very flexible when set, yet easy to remove from the shaft when refletching.
it maybe, but you can look to see if there is a solvent for super glue, if not you may not be able to get that glue off. you should only use fletching glues to be safe in the future.
Thanks - just bought my first carbons, the pro shop glued the fletching so far back it touches my chin/cheek. I must refletch all the brand new arrows and I was concerned about cutting into the shaft when I cut the old off.
i wanna make me some arrow soup , hahaha good job on the demo

@xiaemperor if you are using regular super glue, water is all you need to remove it.
