I like using Chronos' rage it does more dmg. plus its better than Poseidon's rage and the Funniest death in this entire game is when you smash Theseus' head between the doors!!

Vib3z916 Devil May Cry 4 dumb down there game play to make it more like God of War so that Casual gamers could have fun. Its too bad because it was a major step backwards. Its kind of funny when you think about it since GoW took elements from Ninja Gaiden, DMC and Mortal Kombat. I still love the hell out of some God of War :)

Completely chaning the playstyle you use to accomodate a costume is important. Play to its strengths. Even if you choose to handle a boss with the Blades for both, the strat used will likely be different for each due to using different attacks.

Athena would skip battles (High Jumps over barriers but NOT through walls) or even use Regenerating Magic. She would skip (though you could still fight these guys) Theseus and Perseus, but definately kill Euryale. She would not use Infinite Jump. Exploiting sweet spots and range suit her.

Hercules wouldn't skip battles. He would exploit sweet spots and go Berserker using RotT.

I feel the use of EH is OK with Hercules, carrying a severed head around with you is pretty damn macho.

That it is. The effect isn't very Hercules-like though..nor is using the Head.

For TB...TS for Hercules now and then is okay. LV now and then for Athena fits. Vice versa..not so much.

That they tend to be. There are points where using them can be good for mixing things up.. though..truely masterful usage of BH alots for stylish as well as effective handling.

I combo that ISN'T as effective as simply Bow Canceling but suits Hercules is (BH):

t,t,L1+s/t/o.  *right into a special*

Don't forget that while using a special, switching weapon in the pause menu can cancel a special..so if you EDIT properly..you can still look good while abusing this for stylish special whoring

I used that one against the Legionnaire and three archers (just before the 4 Wraiths?) Truly devastating and the shockwave finished most of the archers off.

I would not forget about special move cancelling.
