why do you say that it's a new way to catch coins? I saw this thing in a movie a few(5-6)years ago, unfortunately I don't remember the name of the movie.. :( it was about some school camp, and there was this guy who learned to fight and he did it this exercise. Probably it wasn't invented by the movie makers, so......
what i wanted to say here that it's nothing new in this.
Anyway congratulations for your father, it's not easy to catch 4 coins, you need some skills (and a lot of practice)
@KAGEJOSE Thank you for the link, just want to say that there is one major difference between the two, besides the number of coins. You can clearly see that David Cain throws the coins way above his head, where as my dad's coins (hard to see because he didn't want to show his face) barely pass the top of his head.
I can catch 4x american quarters one at a time the exact same way. This is an extremely difficult thing to work up to. Props to you for getting it on video. ;)
You can do that better than I can. However... can you do that with your left hand? I noticed you only did it with your right.
