Hahaha, nah mate. Thats called a training lion head. Sifu makes them out of much thicker bamboo and steel they are at least twice as heavy. When you pick up a performing lion head its lighter and feels easier, there for you play much better.
HAHA..I use to do that with a heavy gwan gong head, and yea after,it feels Wayy lighter when you start using the hok san...I like the way you guys practice!

Cool to see how Southern are practiced I used to practice Northern but the use bamboo heads then when ou are better they give you a steel head...

Sorry, but Sifu makes these extra heavy for training. I hate using these. They are MUCH heavier!
