  • Friends let us be mindful of Romans 14. perfect for the the comments. read fully if you've the time. No worries for those who say debatable things; are they lovers of our Glorious Father? Why yes they may have weak faith, yet we who are strong should encourage and build up. God is our Judge isn't that fantstic. Yes you say, we follow him and are his and his only. Make straight the paths and be still and know that I am God. Amen. servant to the most High :)

  • awsome!

  • I am somewhat troubled by many of the comments. In worship, the glory should go to God. Our focus should be on God. These young people are dressed culturally proper for California. God looks on the heart - not on how the body is clothed..

This is a worship team - and from what I see, a Christ-centered worship team. Those of you who can't get past the clothing might rethink your priorities. Our attention should be on God - not on the worship team.

  • @BingsTV well said speak with a brave heart we need real leadership. Yes these bands have alot to offer. They are soooooooooo good for our youngsters who are filled with the self/world. Yet for the mature we seek God with all our hearts and clothes and personalities of man is not the prioety. Quite right :) Gods Character is more than enough. Glory to God our salvation xxx

  • I would say Bethel have so much to offer, they stand triumphantly Banging the drum and playing their song For the Greatest warrior Yes the God of my Shield. Jesus the lover of Life the living Word; who can stand against us when we Have a God who has the unspeakable Name Yehweh...God of our Fathers Hallelujah xxx :)

  • Beautiful, Simply Beautiful.

  • Is that Chris Quilala on drums?

  • @junior8jn1 Yes sir, it is!!!

  • @junior8jn1 yup

  • I found the discussion about Jenn very interesting as I know her and also went to Bethel church and the school of ministry, Modesty was discussed at length at the school and we had expectations of what we could and couldn't wear. However I am trying to figure out what is wrong wtih how Jenn is dressed???? I used to dress super frumpy and tred to high in my clothes I now dress more normal like how Jenn is dressed....

  • Jenn Johnson is very pretty ,if your eyes are bothering you, pull them out ,

  • does any body can tell me what is the name of the lady singing not Jean, she is an awsome worshiper, hope that i can be there on time really guys i herad that song not less than maybe 5 times iun the day.

  • @jogace1950 Her name is Leah Valenzula she's Brian Johnsons sister

  • I love this song though. It's beautiful.

  • i love to worship the Lord,Glory to God,Shalom

  • my only thing is why do these people try to look so retro and act like that too kind of. I have mixed feelings about Bethel church. I do like this song, but I think they should not go to church dressed like this. Tight jeans, shirt. What has come of this country? Jen Johnson needs to be tamed. She should take a break from being up there. She's jirating too much.

  • @mismestera Legalism? Hmm...

  • @elcerrito494 hold on now, you really have no right to call my comment as legalistic. Tight clothes or revealing ones in church or as a Christian is just plain wrong, especially in church where men have the chance to look at women and be lustful. And yes i've seen it happen, where women come inapprop. dressed with racer-back tanks, inapprop. clothes and men oggle. I mean let's not give them a chance. I do like a lot of Bethel is doing, but some things I feel as others they do have to change.

  • @mismestera: In California, these young ladies are dressed appropriately. Christians (including pastors) typically attend church in our CA beach town wearing a nice pullover, shorts and flip-flops. It is proper attire for our culture and climate, What's important is that our hearts be pure before God. And we would joyously welcome you in your out-of-place formal wear. "For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.” (1 Samuel 16)

  • @BingsTV bravo I'm frilled to read :) Good news is welcome xxx

  • @elcerrito494 no not legalism just have to have more decency up there in dress and in acting. I like a lot of what Bethel is doing, but they have to mature more in some areas. yes what has this country come to in allowing some things in the church to go on? Yes something less tight does the job just as well without giving the men a chance to not be lustful.

  • @mismestera Yes, legalism.

It's not Jenn Johnson's fault that someone's looking at her with a dirty mind and lusting after her. She's not wearing anything out of the norm... It's not 1955 any more. Do you really think Jesus is looking at her dancing instead of her heart of worship?

I'm no Bethel defender, but legalism isn't the answer to the church's problems today.

  • @elcerrito494 hold on now. I am a woman writing this. wow, wow does it have to be 1955? No, but maybe in 1955 there was more decency in America and in the church. I as a young Christian and married woman with 2 young daughters. I was raised in a totally non-legalistic church in eastern-Europe and in the U.S., a Pentacostal church and no I as a young married woman do not find it right as some of the way woman dress on the stage, racer backs, shorts to be watching with my devout Chris. husb.

  • @mismestera I think we've reached the root issue, and it's not Jenn Johnson's clothing.

  • @elcerrito494 so what's the root issue according to you? Root issue is: it's not about Jen Johnson. I personally don't know her. I watch i-bethel t.v. and listen to their sermons and for the most part I really like this church and what its doing and their worship group. I mean it. Yet I feel that woman up there can be more careful in how they present themelves. It's about woman. It's about modesty and Christian attitude, pants, skirts, shirts whatever. Yes we've reached the root.

  • @mismestera It seems to me that you're worried about your husband lusting after the women on stage. Which is fine. But I wouldn't hold Jenn Johnson (or whoever) accountable for that. She's not wearing out of the norm clothes. If she was on stage nude, I would understand your point of view. Not trying to be rude, but I'm just saying that you can't solve heart issues with legalism.

  • @elcerrito494 actually my husband never watched anything from i-bethel. No I'm not worried that he would be lustful. He is by far the lustful type. He's a computer engineer who's main passion is God, his family, software-engin. He doesn't listen to sermons online. It's not a heart issue and I'm not legalistic. I just think women in a lot of American churches should come more professionally dressed to church. It's the way I was brought up as part of honoring God. Trust me I've seen legal.

  • @elcerrito494 No I'm not worried about my husband being lustful actually. He's by far the lustful type. He's never even watched i-bethel or watches stuff online. He's a software engin. who loves God, but is really like the "computer geek" prototype who loves to fix computers, hardware, software for friends and family. He's a very intelligent and technical man. I was talking about women should be careful how they come dressed in general to church not to give men in general a chance to lust.

  • @elcerrito494 And no I'm not legalistic in any way. I was not raised up in a legalistic household by any stretch, but my God-fearing mother did teach us her 5 daughters to always come to church dressed respectfully, not wearing tanks, or sleevless shirts with either a nice skirt or dress. But no I'm not against wearing a nice pair of pants or jeans to church- or even respectable longer shorts. True I was not raised in an American church and in general an not used to it.

  • @mismestera I grew up "holiness" where we couldn't wear that stuff either. I don't think you're legalistic because I see where you are coming from. However, it is important to note not everyone is holiness. Also, I just moved to California and that's what people wear to church. It's just culture shock; it goes away the more used to it you get.

  • @takitheterrible I don't know what you mean by that "holiness". We are suppose to be holy and live a holy life according to the Word. Don't know what you mean that not everyone is holiness. I didn't grow up in an American church so I don't know all these terms. Though I came here as a child and never really attended an American church for a long period of time just frequented from time to time. To me though it doesn't matter what culture or country we should come to church modest in all.

  • @mismestera I am also a young mom of 2 small children who was raised in a christian home. I find NOTHING wrong with what shes wearing!!! You can tell by the music & her worship that her heart is not to 'seek' the lusts of men. Not to mention she is wearing a T-Shirt WITH a tank underdeath. You keep refering to 'racerback tanks'? Jesus said 'come as we are'. I dont understand how much more modest she could be in this video? I personally believe you are being EXTREMELY critical. Shame on you!

  • @elcerrito494 hello I am a young happily married woman with 2 little girls writing this. And no it doesn't have to be 1955 to come more covered a little, less tight, no tank or racer backs or short shorts to church. See maybe

America has lost a lot of its values of how to come more decent even in dress to church. I say this as a Pentacostal growing up in eastern Europe and the U.S. I don't have a problem with pants, but how you come and present yourself matters...to God, and the men in chur

  • @mismestera I am also from a PENTECOSTAL church and we wear pants or skirts (women do). it doens't matter...skirts are easier to get into than pants and it does happen. the heart is where it counts. I wouldnt expect to see a woman with baggy pants like a man

  • @elcerrito494 Hello I am happily married and mother of 2 little girls, not a man writing this. You say 1955, wow is that what it has to come to? Maybe in 1955 Christian woman in the US came to church more carefully dressed, having a more sober attitude as to not make young men and older men lust after them. I say this a as young Pentacos. Christian woman who has a Godly husband and grew up partly in eastern Europe. Too many things fly in the American church. And many have said this.

  • @mismestera wow loose jeans gonna get u to heaven???

  • @davidbassist1 no loose jeans not gonna get u to heaven. The pt. is decency. Plain decency up their on the stage and at church for that matter -in dress and attitude. It makes a big difference. I was shocked to hear a member of the worship group at Bethel speak once and use filth by saying: What the hell! That is-- (the sh- word)yes without saying the word that time, but be more careful because youth and people who don't know the Lord well are watching you and learning from you.

  • Hillsong or Behtel Worship, either ways, lets worship our Jehovah Rapha! Amen...

  • I love it when Jenn does the BGV.

  • Wow. :) Big call doing this song. :) Redemption aye. :) Danny and crew will be honoured. They are good people. :)

Nice, I like it. :) Ive been through the same sorta thing in a different way. :) Gods grace always comes though. :)

    Love you guys, thanks. :)

  • Let's get down to the essence. We need Him! Old songs, new songs is all about the greatest love ever. Beautiful! This next generation ..... Oh the possibilities! Go for it!! Let's pray them through the 'jungle'.

  • love this song!yay!
