  • Cool, how did you mount it?

  • @sunvalleylaw

I used a bolt that threaded into the bottom (tripod mount). I passed the bolt through one of the vent slots in the top of the helmet and then into the camera (i was wearing same helmet as everyone else, nothing special). I used several jam nuts to help secure the bolt when camera was pointed in correct adjustment.

I also used a shoestring and a strip of velcro. The string was tied to either side of the helmet and then I wrapped it to the camera with the velcro.

  • I see your sound does the same as mine. Great video, crappy sound. I love the camera, but about 7 out of 10 times, the sound sucks. Especially when you get it out of water. Its almost like the water sticks to the mic.

I've gotten several suggestions from people about how to help with keeping the water out but I've yet to try any. I usually just blow in it real quick after submersion to clear the water out of the mic hole. I'm with you though, love the camera, hate the water in mic!

  • @eastwarrior77, its rare for a waterproof camera to have a good sound, me i think this kodak have a good sound. I search a waterproof camera for months, and I can tell you that the camera go pro hd, the best waterproof camera has a sound much worse than this Kodak, With this kodak there is no sounds of creaking, and we can hear people speaking and the sound of water, then with many others waterproof cameras, we must to put music on each video cause the sound is too bad.

  • SWEET!
