  • "Woods don't fight back" : Bruce Lee

  • its not breaking human body limits. breaking stuff just relies on physics, they should break boards without the gaps between them, like to see this :-) hehehehe

  • id be impressed if they could break wood in pre flight. ie wood in zero gravity. throw it up in the air and smash it. If you could do that, you could DEFINITELY break bones with hits, in a fight. that would be really scary.

  • wouldn't that be easier if you just drop the bricks on the ground? :P

  • Great video. I think a lot of people commenting don't appreciate the skill and power it takes to be successfull at power breaking. Also please realize that Power Breakers are true martial artists as well, we spar and work on offensive and defensive techniques. Just because a board doesn't move, or hit back, doesn't mean Power Breakers can't land powerful blows. I power break and spar, most of the time with men faster than me, but they all are wary of me hitting them.

  • These guys look like they need to act a little more professional, I mean they're not novices I'm sure but they look to full of it afterward when they scream and jump around. My master would have been ashamed to see martial arts reduced to this.

  • Where are the asians

  • The spaces are more than just "common practice". They assist greatly with the break as the downward pressure of each brick creates a chain reaction. Were it not for the spacers, you would NOT see breaks like this.

  • For all you people who doubt and talk about "yeah but breaking boards doesn't make you a good fighter" I will tell you what if I had a choice or was in a bad situation, I would definitely want these guys to have my back. You think you can handle any one of them step up to anyone who trains in Philipino Kun Tao and all I can tell you is you will feel alot of pain and regret. This I guarantee. My name is Clarence Woods and I promise you I speak the truth here with NO GAMES

  • @claywoods84 ...you should start training again. We miss you. You were a monster. ~Drew

  • @claywoods84 The truth is all of us as fighters have too mcuh pride the devils favorite emotion. Break a board? You can break bones wood is harder than bone. We all need to learn to be more humble, we do not need to prove ourselves to anyone. Just because we are strong doesn't mean we should flaunt it. We may all be strong in body but if not in heart and spirit, we are lost.

  • @claywoods84 im with you bro these cyborgs look like they eat us normal humans

  • @claywoods84 concrete is just as easy as wood. cuse it dont bend or have any give. wood does. concrete would just shatter to pieses

  • where's Chuck Norris?

  • let c if they can beat shaolin monks

  • I saw that and instantly though of DragonBall Z. that's the Z team! OH YEH!

  • nice °°

  • Now this is the real fucking deal, not these freshly black belted idiots who think they're the greatest fighter in the world because they just got their training wheels off

  • why is there no asian guy?

  • I can break wind.

  • Dear, Team Bergamo

You guys look like very dedicated and skilled people. I wish you guys luck in the future.

  • they look like they all enjoy cake too much to break any serious records.

  • Spacing between piles once again. Done it myself usually with elbow and hammerfist strikes but never used palm or straight punches. Spacing makes it easy. The guys I am seriously impressed by are the ones who get standard slabs, and can break them with no spacing at all on a solid flat surface. That I havent a clue how to do. This doesnt diminish the training these guys did. I did martial arts for 16 years and it takes dedication. Its just that spacing thing needs clarification.

  • kun tao? is this a new generation martial arts or just a branch offa that fancy bit at :57? wouldnt that be escrima? also a martial arts sponsored by a razor company o.0 how ridiculous. if i buy that razor, will i have gained thier superstrength 0.o

  • is there any quick way to do this? physical conditioning i can do? i want to punch somebodies face so it turns inside out.

  • Thats y i LOVE ninjitsu

  • in my opinion this is fake

rate me down for it, but i dont believe it unless they get an OFFICIAL WORLD RECORD FOR IT

  • @smirko

    i agree

  • To clear up all confusion and at Play8oy11:

I've trained with these men for over half my life, it's the real deal. Our style comes from the Filipinos, and it doesn't matter if your teacher is black or white or Asian. It's how well they know the style and the technique. Our Grand Master brought it over for us to learn here, so it is "REAL martial arts." Why don't you go educate yourself and go look at the website?

    -Sarah

  • useless breaking is easy building is hard.....

  • Why do they use spacers between boards? To make it look more impressive. 6 with spacers = 3 without spacers, in my opinion.

  • @Ps1locyb1n Wouldn't 6 without spacers be 3 WITH spacers? I'm confused, I think you have it backwards.

  • spacers changes how the materials are broken. with spacers, things break from the top down, with out spacers the break from teh bottom up. also if you stack a load of bricks up with spacers, its the weight of the falling brick that continue to break the rest of the stack. not using spacers usually makes it harder to break.

in the end, it all depends on the material and surface area.

  • to make the break much easier wood and brick is 10 times stronger binded together, with spacers the wood and brick does not have the strength of the thickness bonded together.

  • Mabuhay! i love fell in love with your martial art. i wanna study it but im from R.P.

  • why din't they break rock?

  • because it is solid and have no center weak point unless it is a flat stone like river`rocks seen broken with bear hands by Korean Tae kwon Do grandmasters and masters.

  • but if you have seen true taekwondo master he even can break the stone.....

  • Boards don't hit back!

  • classic... CHONG LEE CHONG LEE!!

  • STFU, that takes skill and years of training, conditioning mentally and physically, you think it's lame, you try and see how much you cry like a bitch when you break your hand

  • this is all crap take a look at my latest vids ive proved breaking is realy not that hard, l

ol take a look you may be kinda surprised, it took me idno 30 seconds to figure it out and then i did it lol

  • What you are breaking in your videos are not the same bricks used!!!! You are using low density plaster bricks, you even admit to having them made?!??!? try it with the house clay bricks you use to hold them up, or use high density concrete bricks and post the video

  • no buy haveing them made i mean haveing them cut, there pretty sold but sure lol if u think itll make a difference tommorow ill go to my local hardware store and buy every brick type i can find and we will see how we go

  • will you break with your body, or will you break with the glass again?

I agree with your premise that breaking is easy. It is purely mental. Breaking with tools, like you do, disconnects you from that lesson. Go chop some bricks with your hands and post that. I would like to see you do that (you can!).

  • your using a cup tho faggot

  • i bet they can break a grown redwood tree with their bones and flesh

  • tanti saluti da antonio de sabato ,us open 2004.svizzera .

    troppo forte.ciao

  • Controlled bear ofc. still. Not a brutal animal :)

  • people people people... It takes strenght and focus to break boards etc. also. But it is also alot about how u put them and where u hit in them etc. And also. DOESNT make u a good fighter. I dont give a fuck how many boards u have broken but if its my life or yours ? Im gonna be like a mother bear protecting her babys from big bad daddy bear ;D

  • breaking is just what their known for, they do alot of fighting and self-defense. also think about it like this what is the number of force that you need to break to equal the force that you need to brake a skull. Let me tell you, its not a lot.

  • what type of martial art is this

  • The main style behind the team is American Filipino Kun Tao.

  • @geminilibra

    sebarang jak, kimak asuk!!!!

  • @wests12live Shick Quattro duh

  • 0:34. WTF?

  • yeah team bergamo keep em, comming... training with the team helped me alot. thanks

  • actually, it's because:

    1. to test your strength

    2. so you don't have to kill someone in the process of practicing the techniques

but Bruce was right...boards don't hit back

  • why do they break bricks and boards for?

  • wow nice !!! baords are easy for me and mabe someday concrete owch thow that has to hurt

  • Where do you guys get your cement 'bricks' from?

How porous are they? Are they construction grade?

Why not break a bowling ball?

  • Regular blocks from Home Depot or Lowes usually. Sometimes we get them from other concrete supply companies in the area of an event.

  • It's videos like these that make me want to keep goin to master martial arts and become world renown. such an awesome feeling.

  • I always wondered why guys that can break bricks like that would need spacers to break wood?

  • norm58...The spacers are just common practice for competition. They are not always used depending on the break.

  • most spacer are used in competition so it makes the break harder than what itt should be

  • Ummm... actually... it's the other way around... spacers make the break easier. It's like this:

Place a plank on the ground, and stomp on it, nothing happens.

Place the plank, on top of two other planks, and it break.

    Easy as that. :D

  • how the flip are you suppose to break the plant if its on a flat harder surface?!?!?

Obviously you need something to level it up from the ground!!!!!!

  • I don't get you... wasn't that what I was saying? You've obviously misunderstood something...

  • no ...you were saying the spacers make the brake EASYIER...I said it makes braking POSSIBLE.....

  • Ummm.... why? Making the break harder doesn't make it impossible. For a human... I can't say... But let's say you take a brick and put another brick on top of it. No spacers. The break is damn hard! But far from impossible! I'm not saying a human can do it... but it's definetly not impossible... Spacers are there to make the break easier. That's just how it is...

  • This whole argument was about if a human can brake the brick...we were talking about HUMANS breaking...or did you forget???

  • Well... I'm still right dude... :P

    You're not really helping yourself.

You said it was impossible, I said the opposite. It's very possible... But neither YOU nor I are able to do it...

    Ima spoon-feed it too ya...

If you have 2x2 bricks. Two of them have spacers, two of em' don't... Which one is easier to break?! :D

    EXACTLY! The one with spacers.

Which means: Spacers = Easier, I'm right you're wrong, liked talking to ya, and.... that's it I guess! xD

Any coments? How's my hair look!?

  • LOl you didnt say that before jackass...:S

and you didnt say that you nor me could brake it...you said humans couldent brake it!!!so IM right YOUR wrong!

  • well....it's probably more in the manner of the direction the impact comes down if two objects are flat together, also, how many are stacked, and are they stacked on the ground or suspended. i think it's only a real good mix of training, like keeping the bones and body tuff and strong, hitting in the right spot a little bit and also getting that big fire u see them get when they need to break shit. i know that feeling, thats all that shit takes to do honestly and not be a dick either...yep...!!!

  • i have seen people break bricks with out spacers before... and i have breaking pricks with out spacers. beofre... its not impossible

  • lol ive only seen it in the movie called "blood sport" with van damm where he does the dim mak on the bricks and brakes the bottom one..

  • Then please enlighten us all........ what are all those little spacers for???? why take the time to put spacers in there at all???? whats the purpose of them being there? please enlighten us.

  • well for instance.. spacers obviously putspace between each bored.. the main reason is because if u had no space then u would be hitting however many boards or bricks cobined into one target intensifying the amount of force needed to break.. what happens is when u make one break the first board or brick is turned in to a arow which magnafies your force at the centure of the next board causing a rippling effect making the break alot easer

  • what a waste of trees

  • tamashiwari...I am sure Narve is a great breaker, but he is not a competitor and does not hold the many titles that Team Bergamo does.

  • Very impressive and well edited video.

    Nice and approppriate music.

I noticed that you are in for those kind of videos, Geminilibra.

    Are you a breaker too?

  • lantismckavanaugh...I dabble.

  • Impressive to the last. These are everyday normal guys in cities and they are pretty damn masterful. Imagine what those fabled Masters hidden in mountainsides in China can do, or some years of isolated training.

  • yea thats true.... it's like instead of going to school there school is learning how to do this....

  • u dont much about them then if thats what u think. this is just what they r known 4 they kno much more than just breaking

  • Team schick quattro eh?

  • I'd bet they are all nice and clean shaven all the time XD

  • sick :O that's awesome

  • Wooww......

  • That break at 0:50 is beautiful...

  • I know I know, but the piece just looked a little glorified. Kinda looks like a league of heros or something.

  • man, it must take alot of ego to break that man boards. I could never do it.

  • mobofobo...I am not sure what ego has to do with it. The footage is from competitions and World Records. It has nothing to do with ego. It has more to do with training, dedication, and mental fortitude.

  • post your video of you braking with no spacers so we can see what your talking about then becouse ive never seen anyone break multiple boards with no spacers...

  • then you havent seen real martial arts because i have my master has done it several times

  • To break concrete is more easy than, this guys try to show how it is.Just try for you self.

  • Many peole say it is easy, until they try it themselves and hurt themselves.

  • no true master would permit spacers. spacers are a compromise that separates substance from style.

yes it takes more power to go through two bricks than one but not twice as much power since the first helps to break the second.

Most importantly, with spacers it doesn't take more courage.

Either self delusional or con artist.

  • forrestgnome2007...A "True Master" is someone who can speak from either experience or learned technique. Unless you have done something or been taught how to, and can relate to what is actually involved, it is delusional to make criticisms.

  • actually breaking one whole brick is possible, but only chinese fighters can do that. they're trained in a powerful skill called qigong, with ability to turn their skin rock hard that even edged weapons can't pierced through.

  • Only chinese fighters??? Are you kidding? I see it done on a regular basis. Not just one, I've seen two, and three just in my dojo...and with no spacers. It's done by many out of my dojo also.

  • To say the truth, all martial arts known for exploding, brutal power are from Japan, India and Thayland.

I know of fluid, quick and ancient martial arts from china, but i've never heard of such power as you say, Thegreatestchallenge...

  • Respect, but why use spacers???????

I bet if you took all your spacers out, it would make a big difference.

  • Spacers make for a different type of break. Spacers are a standard at most Competitive Breaking events.

  • spaces is the first step of breaking, only a true master can break with no spacers.

  • I used to do Ming Chuan and i was breaking without spacers from the beginning.

  • Nicky24111991...Although they break with no spacers as well, your comment is unfounded.

  • I have no idea, but I've never said that they're not the true master, please check again.

  • Nicky24111991...This is what you wrote "spaces is the first step of breaking, only a true master can break with no spacers." Doesn't that mean that they are not true masters becasue they use spacers?

  • No,maybe they just break with no spaces in their training. But in competition, spaced breaks is the standard for the competitors.

  • Also, it seems that you are implying that these gentlemen are not true masters, yet you have submitted all their videos on your channel. Why?

  • nice

  • is nice. I like. high five (ouch wouldn't wanna high five with these guys)

thats amazing. I was worrying about breaking one board at a tournament this weekend.

    thanks for the motivation.

  • lol these guys are gonna get mad arthritis.
