@benlroberts2 According to the legend, two dragons fought in midair where the red dragon represent the Britons while the white dragon represent the Saxons. The white dragon defeats the red dragon. The white dragon's name Aithusa signified the dawn of a new era of Anglo-Saxon domination of Britain. Merlin unwitingly unleashed the destruction of Camelot and Romano-British civilization.

@xxxmrstaylorlautnerx But Kilgharrah could not know if Aithusa was male or female, since it had not yet hatched. And from my point of view, if Aithusa is male, the probabilities that it becomes evil in the season 5 are greater.

@kemokage Personally, I'm thinking that Aithusa will stay with Kilgharrah, given that there's no way to know how quickly he'll grow and it would be rather difficult for Merlin to train him without being discovered.
