Ryan's plan would give billions more to the insurance companies via vouchers. And where does the money for those vouchers come from? You and me, that's who!
Can you say CORPORATE WELFARE??? This nigger (Ryan) should know better! F U Ryan and the rest of your corporate slave (GOP) buddies!
If anyone is stupid enough to tell you privatizing health care will make it more affordable ask them how much people in Canada, Germany or France pay for it. Then say
God, he destroyed the President, and he wasn't even really talking to him! Just as good as the first time I saw this. This is the side of Republicans that we're not allowed to see. Persuasive, and effective. Which is why BO cut this short.
Let's take a look at the insurance ladder; let's see big insurance? No, too expensive and sometimes responsible for deaths. Small insurance? Never heard of that but not very effective for revitalizing health care. What's the last rung? Government insurance.
This is the first republican I've liked in a long time. Finally an intelligent speaker with common sense, not you typical rep. baffoon looking out for his career. I would consider voteing for this guy if he runs for president in12.
Wow - Congressman Ryan, nice work! You were polite, concise and sensible. Compared with President Obama's constant demagoguery, you're a breath of fresh air.
If I didn't feel that there were already too many staffers on the Hill, I'd love to return to speech writing, but I feel like I can better serve the country by staying in the private sector. God bless you in your work and keep up the good fight.
Bravo Paul! very succinct and spot on. hmm. and then Obama.. le-le le uh uh uh. Why didn't he reply to Paul? Cause he would have to say that he does want the gov to regulate the people because gov does a better job. laughable.
i really hate it when that happens---somebody checked the balance against the checks and behold we have bounces everywhere. wonder how that happened ?
Paul Ryan is extremely bright & really examines the #s. If this admin pushes any more ppl to the right, they could create a very embarassing scenario for Obama in 2012, because we could then run Paul Ryan, not settle for moderates in order to appeal to both sides. Obama has the power to make him yield now but in a series of debates w/ Paul Ryan, he'd look very amateur. He knows it & avoids it with "we'll debate that later, you & I" or his reply yesterday, "I don't wanna get bogged down with #s".

You need to watch Paul Ryan school Obama on the costs of the bill and how the CBO cost estimates were manipulated.

Process matters! Process is the only difference between democracy and dictatorship! Speak up more! Is this a summit or a lecture?
