What's fascinating about Carmilla in this game is they're simultaneously playing up a major aspect of her original character ( "Carmilla" is the first English vampire novel-style story, predating Dracula by a decade) while also going completely the opposite way. namely, Carmilla was known for being obsessive unto adoration and seeming love about her victims (the crazy-sexy behavior) but she was also a petite thing, not...that.

A bit like Ivy though, yeah. Probably the chest.

Why do so many people hate fantastical, over the top finishers? They are called finishers for a reason and are supposed to be big!

All of those moves are overpowered as shit.

Why not just double the damage of all basic moves and skip the super finisher if you can kill them with it at half health? Shitty design.

Shame on you! I just got Castlevania Judgement and it's actually not that bad. Sure, Maria's annoying and a few of the modes are a bit naff, but at least unlike Soul Calibur 4, the finishers don't have any clones! Plus, there's Wi-fi which is done better than Smash Bros Brawl.

He is in Castlevania Bloodlines for the Sega Genesis. You can play as him or John Morris who has the whip as opposed to Eric and his spear. The way Eric looks in Bloodlines is much better, believe me. The game may be on the Virtual Console too if you want to check it out. Its pretty good, plays like old school Castlevania like the NES ones.

If your a castlevania fan you might like it. as far as a 2 player fighting game you should pass. Rent it before you buy it if you can. It has novelty but it wears off quickly. They should have just made it an action game with the fight mode as an option.
