this thing is staring at me with it's single eye on the back!!

  • Man those sound effects sounded crunchy and munchie

  • aliens do exist

  • In soviet there or no sea urchins because everybody swam into the ocean and curb stomped them all to death with their bare feet.

  • All hail to our Sea Urchin overlords

  • I dont know why i loled so hard at the stars

  • Wow really? Who are the 7 people that DISLIKED this video!? Lol

  • I want one of those "brittle starfish"

  • cool!

  • i want one of those as a pet :3

  • The sea is so much more mystical and beautiful than space... These things are probably the closest thing you'll get to an alien..

  • It's like someone went to an oceanside giftshop and made a stop-motion film.

  • absolutely amazing...urchins, sunfish and sand-dollars...even the kelp held a "magical" beauty. Thank you.

  • ...I'll never look the same way at a sea dollar ever again now.

  • Speeded up sea creatures remind me of Tim Burton animated movies.

  • The brittle stars look like writhing clumps of yarn.

  • I now want to go scuba diving

  • Uhh...

  • look it's patrick's brothers

  • So THIS is what the Mayans were afraid of.

"I love this attention!" Says the happy Sunflower Star fish. "Oh goody, goody! Do what the Narrator says and I get paid! Yay, yay!"

  • One day, those funny little sea things will rule the world and make documentaries on humans.

  • @RAMAR713 And here we see the futility of attempting to control their world. *Clip of man eaten by tiger followed by general laughter*

  • So this is why there's so much seaweed on the shores. DAMN YOU SEA URCHINS.

  • sea urchins are strange.how do they see?how do they move?

  • @ylguehtthguackcirtap probably has different senses not everything is smell, touch, see, taste.

  • @ylguehtthguackcirtap

The have hundreds to thousands of tiny tube feet. And they sense light and smells, and detect things by touch.

  • i cant believed i tried to watch this while eating

  • Its like stock motion animation with fish check out the moving carpet with legs.

  • so thats where sand dollars come from :)

  • I found a sand dollar beforee

  • reminds me of the cartoon trapdoor when they speed it up like that

  • Foul creatures. Arses with teeth.

  • AAuughg I hate starfish!

  • what are those invertabrate thingies

  • Comment removed

  • It's making me itch...

  • its scary deep inside the ocean.

  • the fast motion is a trip!!!... best thing i seen in a while!!!

  • Despite being more closely related to us than insects, I can't seem to relate as much to a starfish as I would, say, a grasshopper. At least some of the latter's body parts come in pairs.

Great video nonetheless. Looks similar to stop-motion. Fascinating.

  • @TankTaur

Yeah, if you see them at first I didnt even think they were animals. Now i have to study them at university and they are pretty damn interesting.

Very cool to see them move around like this :)
