Impressive run by the FG2. I'm assuming looking at the date of when this video was uploaded that it has Hondata Reflash and bolt-ons. Def can do 14 flat with Hondata Flashpro if he can drive like that.

second gear synchro's in the rsx tranny are complete garbage. ive yet to talk to another rsx owner that hasnt had second grind or 3rd gear pop. acura refuses to do a recall notice despite petitions :(

@masterbaeten88 my rsx tranny blew a gear through the bottom end and they tried to fight me to warranty fixing it..the car had 2k miles on it...i was pissed...but i still love the car...runs good now...they upgraded in 05 to better syncro's ..

There's no lag in the z3's throttle response. It's very good actually. The only issue has been the Rev Hang between shifting gears. Luckily there is a Hondata.

It all depends on the driver! The si has a better 1st to 5th gear ratio, but the type s has the 6th gear advantage which means the type s is better in the long run. By the way nice launch!

they're basically the same car, same size motor, so yeah it's basically who can drive, even wtih bolt ons, people usually put the same list of things, headers, intake, exhaust, reflash in some cases, and the cars make close to the same power...

the FG2 SI is slightly heavier then the Type S...but not by much.the weight is just about the same so you can't really count it towards who wins and who loses.besides if the RSX driver weighs rougly 130 pounds or so more then the SI driver then that cancels out the weight advantage altogether.
