I found this film because it was on the similar videos list for my film "The Butcher." I watched it, and I have to be completely honest... it scared the shit out of me! I really enjoyed it, and the use of the girl from The Ring was particularly scary. I'm pretty much going to spend the day looking over my shoulder now! hahah Great job, though, seriously.

It Reminds me of Fatal Frame more than anything else, not only the camera angles but the effects and the ghosts as well. The way things kinda popped out of nowhere. Japanese things are scary. Nice work!

I wasn't too fond of the close up camera from behind shots as it made it feel too much as if there truly was someone filming within the film itself, like a documentary, which obviously clashed with the narrative. Apart from that it was nice.

The 2 things I would criticise are, firstly, as someone has already mentioned, there was a lack of a proper storyline and the whole dream thing always seems so cheesey and a cheap way out. I always prefer it when people stick to their story and don't 'bail out'. The other thing was the stair sequence at the beginning.

That was pretty good. It could have used some more camera coverage though. Like when he's standing in the doorway pushing the elevator button? It would have made it a bit more tense with maybe a close-up or super there. The actor, not much expression on his face. I'd be fucking scared shitless if that happened to me! Also, I know it's a short, but a little character bonding/building would've have made it better too. But it was still good.

that was very good. if i heard noises like that comming from the end of the hallway, i would say "Oh hell no! i'm taking the window!" But when the girl is crawling, it woulda been cool if a trail of blood was left as she was dragging her body on the ground. but this was awsome none the less!

I haven't watched your inspirations' films but I got a really good sense of what their films are like. You actually had me on edge when the real scary stuff happened. The camerawork during those frightening parts was wonderful. That setting (mostly the cool swinging door) was also excellent. All I'd really say is... get a tripod for some stuff? Otherwise thrilling.
