As I intimated, would a walk towards the Prickwillow side of town be better, using your local knowledge? Looks a tad more peaceful fro what I can make out on the map...
This is where I have to take my dog for a walk everyday. I don't think it's coincidental that I have one of the few dogs who doesn't get excited about walk time. I have to shove him out the front door.
The walk should definitely officially include the route by the riverside and Maltings at the end there. That's my favourite bit of the city.
At least you don't see many people on the walk. They all stay indoors!
