Did not work with any flv file. CNET users have given this product HORRIBLE reviews. What a waste of time. Looks like whatever you had in 2009 doesn't work in 2012.

OMG thank you so much!!!!! I kept looking for a free video converting software that a) wouldn't shorten my videos and b) wouldn't say what software I used just because I was using a free version of it.

when I try and convert I get a message saying "Seems stream 0 codec frame rate differs from container frame rate: 2000.00 (2000/1) -> (30/1) Input #0, flv, from 'C:\Users..." and it takes forever for the file to convert. Any ideas on what to do?

You choose "Copy original video stream" on the video codec menu (video settings)

And after the convert, the video is the same quality as the original.

FLV is ok but after converting it to AVI its not so clear like i see blocks.

i tryed this keep getting erro say could not find FFmpeg encoder i have a flv trying to convert to AVI

I downloaded both the Converter and YouTube down loader programs from your site. After converting the flv to avi I then played it in windows media player. I get the audio but no video only visualizations, I turned the visualizations off, that didn't help any. Would you have suggestion on what I can do. I am using "Windows Media Player 11"? Thank you

Problem solved. After a lot of investigating I finally went to w w w . m e d i a c o d e c . o r g and downloaded the free program "Windows Essencials Codec Pack 2"

The program works with XP and Vista and a couple of others that I can't remember off hand.
