the part where he makes the card levitate is he puts wax on end of string and puts on ear and attaches to card, so it looks like its levitating, to make it go up, you move your hand close to the card, vice versa.

dont perform in bright places or anywhere with florescent lights. they will ruin the effect. anywhere with shadows are great. just take your thead and look at it in different lighting so you will know for sure.
