  • Gary Thorne is such a great announcer, the Devils have been lucky to have both Gary Thorne AND Mike Emerick as their play by play guys over the years.

  • Such an amazing game. Wish I had seen it live, but I was only 2 years old at the time. Crazy how the Devils made it to within one win of making it to the Finals that year, too.

    It was all the sweeter that the Devils made the playoffs by eliminating the RANGERS. You can't ask for anything better! GO DEVILS

  • i used to live in NJ and attended a lot of games that year the playoff drive was something special.The first baby steps on the way to THREE STANLEY CUPS.

  • @azbaldy5 John MacLean might have been the only player still remaining from that 1988 run that won the Stanley Cup in New Jersey in 1995.
