Although i agree that most of our music today is self destructive I stop when you say this creates homelessness and poor people?? I'd say family structure and community structure (or lack of it) is what creates those problems. Music is a reflection of a society. At the core of your statement I still agree with you but I grew up listening to hip hop and I graduated from college and have no arrest record, that's b/c of my family structure which reinforced whats real and whats not.
