Kenshiro! You are the Fist of the North Star! I can't believe they called you Arzaak due to legal issues. I love this video game and I still own it. I owned the remake Fist of the North Star for the 360 and it was tough as hell until I learn how to max Kenshiro status out by repeating Chapter 3 over and over. That was a loooong game!

You know the chapter one of Last Battle, Hokuto No Ken, it sounds like the theme of Street Fighter II: Special Champion Edition; V.S. Battle theme song. Last Battle is my favorite, I played it when I was 10.

They didn't get the names wrong, they just flat out changed them. They do this constantly to appeal to the overseas market. And what the characters say is actually quite faithful.

I didn't know anything about this game, I simply chose it because of pics on the back of the game case, it just looked interesting. The original game title (hokuto no ken shinse kimatsu kyuksei ishu densetsu, or something). There is the word "north" and "hero" in it (google translation sucks) so I think it's based on the north star

Ah, yet another case of pure American garbage! They took a perfect Japanese game, changed it's title from Hokuto No Ken to Last Battle, changed every characters name and animation, made it a lot easier than the Japanese version and there you have it.

This was one of the few "MegaDr ive" games i owned and i loved it. At the time i thought it was the same as having an arcade machine in my loungeroom, the game was that good back then....it had a certain atmosphere, you either played it in the day or will NEVER understand how GOOD it actually IS.

Yes, this is the Americanized version of Hokuto no Ken (Fist of the North Star). However, I noticed immediately that this version is running a tad slower because your emulator isn't running 100%.

i know some of u wont beleive me but this game ACTUALY existed on sega mega drive-a system used in the 70's. Not many out side arcade employ had this thing-a 16 bit. Their was only 8 people in the world had it,my dad was one of em,it was a prototype that never made it-instead the "Master System" was released and the Mega Drive was consigned to history but for me and a few others we were able to play some games..this and alter beast.the machine had three buttons!!

Back then, this game was amazing mainly for the large characters and the multilayered side-scrolling. Prior to games like these, everything on the NES had characters only about up to his knees. Funny how graphics were the main selling point durin the Genesis launch to the point that ANY game was better than the NES games.
