  • Glad you liked it. As for mister vislas123 - you can disregard his comment. He's an old friend of mine from the Army, and he is expressing his sense of humor. I haven't seen him in over 15 years, and the lamo makes a post like that. If we hadn't been through a war together, I might be upset or something!

  • This is good drumming

  • terrible..i had to vomit after i heard that trash.

    slas

  • Pay no attention to the no-talent morons who attempt to hide their deep-seeded feelings of inferiority by putting down others. You are a fine drummer. Let no one tell you otherwise. Very nice and God Bless You.

  • Thanks man - and don't worry, I don't pay any attention. Even if they are better than me, it makes no different, because I don't really care.

  • You have been blessed with great talent John! That was an awesome performance!

  • Thanks!

  • man that was sick good work

  • Hey, thanks, though it isn't even close to many I've seen. I have a sampler CD that has about 30 percussionists on it - they're sick. One guy, John Blackwell, can twirl his sticks while doing cross sticking and playing at a phenomenal speed, all at the same time. If you watch him and listen, it doesn't seem possible.

  • I have an acoustic - Perl Export. I'll eventually get a clip on here of that one too. I might take a shortcut - simply record myself playing various beats and splice it all together, rather than make a well defined solo as I did in this piece.

You're quite generous with your comments. I put this clip on MySpace and received numerous put-downs from a bunch of pre-madonas. I know I'm not a pro. Just having fun... But thanks broe! Blessings!

  • it sounds pretty good but you should get a acoustic set

  • It's a Roland. This is yesteryear's model, too. I thought they sounded pretty good too; perfect for my small church. Light, highly portable - whole thing fits in the back of my SUV, and takes less than 5 minutes to setup. I still have my Perl Export accoustic, but the electronic has the ability to adjust the sound; an indelible quality, to say the least. I can also play them with ear phones on, and nobody hear anything at all but me.

  • What kinda kit (brand name) ya got going there, Mr Milor?? sounds great
