Poli81883 is right. And also, France tried to put an emperor in Mexico in the mid 1800s, which was when Benito Juarez, president of Mexico, resisted the the French occupation. I, as a Mexican, find this video uninformative. No information at all of the Revolution for anyone trying to find it.
Most of the information is ok but the title of the conflict are wrong such calling it the Mexican Revolution or Mexican Civil War the conflict they refer is to the Mexican Independence Movement
Mexican Independence Movement 1810-1821 (Mexican vs Spaniards)
Mexican Revolution 1910-1917 (Mexican Poor vs Mexican Elite)
@dab0331 actually the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd generation colonists who made up the population of the east coast colonies thought of the revolution as an English civil war more so than the British. Perhaps your country could learn the quality of open minded documentary rather than the sentimental patriotic clap-trap it spoon feeds itself, thus saving Americans from having the reputation of being the worlds dumbest people.
@castlekingside28 example: the american civil war [dubbed so by us yankees] will always be viewed by johnny rebel southerners as the revolutionary war for southern independence.

@castlekingside28 i doubt it. the term civil war is usually only used by the country who's trying to supress the rebellion.
the founding fathers viewed it as a revolution.
