Yea we can't have Michael, its a forced decision. Unfortunately we could have JD, that's what makes it tough to accept that they don't have him. He was great live. His voice here is perfect for the song. Interesting though, Jon Stevens performed this song with INXs several years before Switch came out, wonder if he ended up helping to write it and then because he's gone no credits? JD co-wrote stuff with Andrew at the end of 2010 that apparently won't be released.

good track,reminds me of Simple Minds in parts, particularly the verses and the very end of the song..not that sounding like Simple Minds is a bad thing, but maybe it was just a side effect of the old and new INXS sound fusing together

you know I never knew the inxs back then I was born in 1991 but my dad was a fan and this is some of his music so I love this music evne more now that he is gone we used to listen to it before he passed away so I really love this song. And no one can ever really be replaced so its a bit sad that the new guy waqs kind of a drunk and that many of you dont like him. But to me its more than who the singer is its about the music and this makes me feel at home and with my dad.

@kinkydistancedreamer  I hope you know that JD allegedly did have issues at the end of the first tour but he cleaned up his act and in 2010-11 toured with INXS and the shows were amazing. He also apparently was writing stuff with them. Unfortunately for whatever reason they've split. Though JD is currently working on a solo album and INXS has a different singer who Andrew is writing with. Sorry about your dad, its great these songs can bring back good feelings I really like Switch and JD.

Love it! not heard these guys since i was 18, and its the lyrics and passion of the people involved that make a good song, and this spoke more of modern life and its problems on relationship breakups, than i ever heard. good luck to the new line up!

This is not Hutchence singing, it's JD Fortune the new guy from that reality show. It was released 8 years after Hutchence died.
