In repsonse to a lot of folks that are bashing you - I was commisioned to create an official music video for a band. But on completion, I had the same problem. Sorted now, finally, but absolutely ridiculous that there were powers outside the artists and label preventing people from showcasing their work. And now that the track and video has been cleared, its been ruined by pop up adverts.
Fortunately, I also run an account on Vimeo so I dont have to rely on youtube for showcasing my work.
I agree with what your saying on here. But as its not an official video, its still copywrite infringement. It sucks, but its the law and has to be expected, no matter how stupid that is. The animation is really good, cant you find another piece of music that would fit? Or distort the original enough to bypass youtube restrictions?.

The video is just misleading, I Came here expecting.......well Bjork and her song....but instead.... a badly drawn animation. Though props to the poster the captions along with the images just made me lol.
I think he had to switch the song because the Bjork song is copyrighted by Warner. He replaced it with Claude Debussy's Reverie, a beautiful impressionist piano piece that I wouldn't be surprised if Bjork herself is influenced by.
On the other hand, you could not interrupt the first 35" of your own fucking artwork with annoying annotations and allow us to quickly remove the now-standard youtube advertisement as we are used to doing. People who follow these ads maintain a right to do so, regardless of whether you or I would.

I was preparing myself to watch something beautiful and then all these little notes like "youtube i piss on your grave" appear. Seriously, take them off. I am not discussing your point of view, but having to read all of those before watching the video is troubling...
Now now, play nice. I could be clearer in the Annotations, and should probably update the sidebar info to explain... But aye, WMG had this video deactivated (staggeringly, they've done the same to official videos put up by Björk's official website...) and my only option to get it back up was to 'swap' the audio with something from YouTube's music library. Pretty awful, but the link to a high quality flash version of the video (with proper sound) remains active in the sidebar description...
All these big companies treat music videos like they're DVD movies now when their purpose was to advertise new music so people will want to buy it. It's absurd. Aside from WMG, we have Universal and other labels disabling embedded videos. The only solution is a subversive one, like Pirate Bay. Any site that accepts all the anti-consumer laws as fair, and sides with record companies, will be like YouTube getting all their videos pulled and muted (it's happening w/Dailymotion now too).

So some idiot has spent a while making their own video that shows off an artist on your label, and put it on the internet for people to watch, and this can really only be a good thing not just promotion-wise but culturally...

I agree with what people said, you can tell its not a Bjork video. It would be 'wierd'. I'm a massive Bjork fan none-the-less, but her videos am always interesting and strange in some way.
But nice attempt anyway. My little sister makes music videos for fun, there no harm in it. I would if I knew how to lol. So people leaving all these nasty comments, think before you post. Theres no need for it.

Seriously, do you have something against this guy? So what if she does or does not know it exists? You don't have to crush the guy's spirits and get all threatening by being all "cholke (choke) on your tounge (I am assuming you mean tongue)and hit your head on a sharp corner for good measure" There's no need for it. And.. it's kinda cool that he can make these in the first place. If you don't like the video, you don't have to comment as if this person did any crime.
