There is no such thing as an 'authentic hadith', God or the Quran doesn't authenticate any hadiths. It is a man made delusion and a trap that the muslims have fallen into. There's nothing wrong with following a sect / madhab unless you have time to become a scholar and interpret the quran and hadith according to your knowledge. This takes years of study though, so your better of following a Manhaj / sect . .
what dr zakir didnt mention in his speech is that muhammad s.a.w had a jammat that was called ahle sunnat he should be saying follow allah and muhammad s.a.w and his sunnat jammat. in hadith it says muhammad s.a.w prayed for syria and yemen in his duwa and a person from najd said phrophet pray for najd and our phrophet didnt pray he then said i cant pray for najd because from that place their are going to be a sect that are going to cos fitna in my ummah he meant wahaabi please follow sunnat

If he is a Wahabi then don't follow his ways of general practice 'IF' he does practice like a wahabi i.e discounting prayers after namaz, reduced rakahs in tarawi, lack of sunnat prayers in mosque etc. Follow the quran & the way of the prophets life & you won't want to be a shia nor wahabi etc.

Ok, we can be muslim, but what about fiqh, all schools of thoughts have a didnt fiqh, as in how to pray namaz, how is divorce valid, etc....in matters of fiqh 4 schools of sunni are different, then which one will you turn too, when u have a specific problem that needs to be answered, because the 4 schools can't even 100% agree on how to pray namaz, some say finger should be up when reading shahadat, some say it shouldn't, some say hands should be above naval some say it shouldnt etc..

Dr. Zakir is missing on a very big and important thing. The Holy Prophet (s), before he died, appointed Imam Ali (a) as mawla over all muslims, and told the muslims to adhere to the Quran AND Ahl-al Bayt (or itra). Not Sunnah. Please research and discover the plot against Ahl al-Bayt. They interpret the Quran and Sunnah.

Firstly, if you criticise the Imams then you criticise the Prophet(ss) himself, as the Prophet(ss) said "whoever angers Fatima, he angers me" (Bukhari).

There is no such thing as an 'authentic hadith', God or the Quran doesn't authenticate any hadiths. It is a man made delusion and a trap that the muslims have fallen into. The most dangerous part is hadith is so sugar coated for someone who genuinley wants to be a good muslim, that he / she is would feel guitly to even question them. Please read the Quran with an open heart and mind, Quran repeatedly commands us to think and reflect, not to blindly accept anyone's packaged versions of islam.

If you don't want to be in a sect, then return to the QURAN ALONE. The moment you start accepting any man made 'authentic hadith', you have already fallen into a sect and broken the command of verse the Dr Zakir is quoting. No good claiming your seect is the 'correct sect'. It is absolutely astounding how muslims have been in a delusion for 1200 years following man made fairy tales that hadiths are and actually believing that they were following the religion of ISLAM, sent by God.

Dr. Zakir correclty quotes the Quran, then astonishingly includes 'authentic hadith' as part of the rope of Allah, along with the Quran. You will find no where in the Quran that guidance is to be sought anywere else other than the Quran itself. Quran repeatedly, EXPLICITLY claims ABSOLUTE AUTHORITY, and assures perfection and protection for itself. God wouldn't and didn't leave muslims at the mercy of provan corruptible hadiths. Wahabi name originated from the name of Mohammad bin Abdul wahab. Wahab is name of Allah, Wahabi means related to Wahab, so its good to be called wahabi :D.
Zakir naik is true, A true muslim cant tell in which sect he is, other people label him according to his believes. All 4 imams were salafi, and when a salafi comes in pakistan, he is called wahabi.

@revengeoftheturnip Follow just quran & hadith to disclude yourself from being part of any sect, because these sects have their own school of thought & have deviated by following certain other prophets in Islam more highly than our beloved prophet Muhammed (pbuh). Revelation from Allah was revealed to Prophet Muhammed (pbuh) through Angel Gabriel, & it was he who completed & perfected the faith pure from Allah. I believe Zakir Naik is doing good, thus don't look at his wahabiism nor follow it.

@revengeoftheturnip Brother, what you have to remember that Dr Zakir Naik always pushes people to go back to the Quran & hadith, thus myself classed as a sunni muslim would not like to deviate from that. If he is a Wahabi then don't follow his ways of general practice 'IF' he does practice like a wahabi i.e discounting prayers after namaz, reduced rakahs in tarawi, lack of sunnat prayers in mosque etc. Follow the quran & the way of the prophets life & you won't want to be a shia nor wahabi etc.

Ok, we can be muslim, but what about fiqh, all schools of thoughts have a didnt fiqh, as in how to pray namaz, how is divorce valid, etc....in matters of fiqh 4 schools of sunni are different, then which one will you turn too, when u have a specific problem that needs to be answered, because the 4 schools can't even 100% agree on how to pray namaz, some say finger should be up when reading shahadat, some say it shouldn't, some say hands should be above naval some say it shouldnt etc..

Dr. Zakir is missing on a very big and important thing. The Holy Prophet (s), before he died, appointed Imam Ali (a) as mawla over all muslims, and told the muslims to adhere to the Quran AND Ahl-al Bayt (or itra). Not Sunnah. Please research and discover the plot against Ahl al-Bayt. They interpret the Quran and Sunnah.

Firstly, if you criticise the Imams then you criticise the Prophet(ss) himself, as the Prophet(ss) said "whoever angers Fatima, he angers me" (Bukhari).
Secondly, The Imams never said the Quran was corrupt, this is your fitna only.
Thirdly, Not all the Prophets wives were good, as those who spoke about the Holy Prophet(ss) behind his back were exposed in the Quran.
