sitting in with some older guys that went to my high school, Off topic, but one of the songs they recorded they named, "Coffee with chick corea" a play on the coffee with chickory we drink down here in Louisiana. My louisiana freinds will appreciate that. The name of the band was buffalo. Vince Distofano on guitar, David Peters on drums, Broadmoor High guys, school I went to a few years behind them. David played with Louisiana Leroux.Maybe mixed up, my memory is shot since my bike accident.
I found some of his work playing bass for other muscians that were out of print, probably never to be realesed again, at a little used book and record store right off campus at University of Virginia, Charlottesville, VA. The two Joni Mitchel records, had most of my CD's stolen, can't remember all of the people he played with,a lot of other jazz like Chick Corea.
Chick used a lot of different bass players. I remember in a recording studio in Baton Rouge,
The beginning was an interesting interpretation. I was looking forward to hearing what he would do with the arpeggios but I guess he decided to end it prior.
I was watching this and all of a sudden a Chromatic Apparition appeared!
