Dekalb co Ga. Over several years I went to court for 3 speeding tickets and each time the court offered everyone ( judiciary expedition ) if they would agree to pay the fine and not contest. In exchange the court would drop the violation to a non moving violation with no dl points. They have 3 court rooms running 3 calenders a day each and it is so full of people that all the benches are full and people are standing along the walls. If only 1% demanded a jury trial the system would collapse!!!

Sorry, but your reading of the 14th amendment is completely wrong. Mainly, you're talking about two DIFFERENT laws--you can't apply equal protection to them. Second obviously the cops have a public policy reason for being there. Of course they should obey the law but it has no bearing on what anyone else is doing.

While I agree cops should not endanger the lives of bystanders in order to catch a criminal, I DO think a great way to stop these guys would be to just put up a nice roadblock up around one of these blind curves, then scrape the dead remains off the highway.

Why would anyone give police courtesy? People just want to put blame on someone else other themselves. People spend to much time hateing law enforcement because they stopped them for doing 70 in a 30.

Who made this video needs to give it a break. If you have enough spare time to drive around and record police, you could probably take that time and invest in something creditable, like an education.

suppose a everday hard working citizen that is speeding runs a red light and i see it all the time and broad sides my car going 60 in a 45 because they were trying to beat a light they knew they would not be able too, that's not being a real criminal? I don't agree with a lot of what cops do, but if you think about it speeding is probably the most common law broken here in the US, and when it comes to auto deaths I bet speed plays a part in at least 90% of those deaths.

police departments dont have quotas...they are illegal. and speeding is illegal, and if they see you they can stop you, simple as that. best thing to do is to NOT SPEED, or at least keep it under 10 over. if you get pulled over be nice and respectful, most police appreciate that and will give you a warning. be smart and you wont get into trouble...be an idiot (even if youre hardworking) and you will pay.

I'm from Dallas Texas. In Dallas the average response time for a 911 call is longer than it takes to get a pizza delivered. So if you call the cops and order a pizza at the same time the pizza gets there first. But a cop will still sit on the road all night handing out tickets to people committing none violent crimes instead of stopping burglaries or tracking down thieves and murderers. I could do the job better.

But that's the point you're missing, the police fail badly to keep everybody safe (certainly in a lot of places), generally think they are better than everyone else and are always there to attempt to enforce minor laws that generate revenue for the police departments. My brother is a police officer (a good one, not an asshole) and he tells me it's the easiest job he's ever had.

Not state police or any othe ragency is authorized to operate in a manner not in accordance with federal law. any officer doing so is breakign the law and cna be arrested by a regular citizen. notify th eoffenders that they are under citizens arrest and demand their radio. call for a shift leader and be prepared to go down town and make a sworn statement and file the papers to charge the criminal cop.

any officer who beats down a citizen trying to make a citizens arrest will be prosecuted the same as if it were a real officer tha tis federal law. They are required to get their supervicor or shift leader on scene to handle the case and make the report and arest the officer. it is the right of the american citizen.

any police officer who is not conducting a warrant service on a scene must have his lights on when respondign to ANY type of traffic chase. This i sa Federal DOT law. Lights off can only be used in a situation where they dont want to alert the suspects. they must use the lights and siren until wihtin a short distance of the location....traffic pursuit never allows for a lights an dsiren off situation
