Why do all these great acts hit the international market! COME BACK TO THE US CSN! I'M YET TO SEE YOU GUYS IN CONCERT! This is a great version of this song :)
These guys influenced a generation. Bands of today - Fleet Foxes, Band of Horses et al - owe these guys a major debt, and I'd say would find it hard to compete. This was excellent. thanks for posting :)
Stephen's voice was surprisingly in good form here. I love his voice more than the other two, but years of hard living have obviously taken their toll on him (as well as significant hearing loss). I hope he's happy and healthy.
Awesome video! When I hear CSN a button turns on inside my head and I in few seconds have 20 years old again !! All you know that CSN was a huge loudspeacker of the political conscience of a entire generation. Thanks for posting, cheers from Brazil!!
@tomorocko - "For What It's Worth" was a 1960s anthem, a signal for youth everywhere to look at how their country was being run and what it was doing to them and the rest of the world. Now it's about how meat is prepared for market by the Schneiders meat company. Fuck Stephen Stills, that money-hungry bastard.
@GuyTooShy It's his song to do what he wants with....but I kind of agree with you. How many times has CCR's Fortunate Son and Springtien's Born in the USA been used in commercials to pump up some sort of commercial bullshit?
Um...that would be because all the people who know what decent music is, watch these videos rather than the little whiner's. Also, he is universally hated by these same people, because Beiber and such have destroyed the music industry. Thats why.
Over the years I heard them live several times. Often their difficult harmonies did not work, and they were off key and even sour, though I still appreciated them for their history and contributions. But I had almost come to the conclusion that only their studio recordings could allow them to get the harmonies right and to play in a way that was tight and near perfect. I was clearly wrong. This version, done live in front of a huge crowd, is simply incredible.
The Baby belongs in the middle and he is still so handsome See him close up sometime you will be amazed how blue his eyes are WOW Fine aged wine has nothing on Mr. Stills

@DanOblacksmith hi, are you feedin the ducks with your grandchildren? good for you, keep up. Its nice when others do that and also have fun on stage...
Before seeing them a few years ago, I was not sure what to expect. A bunch of has-beens? Fact is, they blew me away-they are better now than they ever have been. At one time they were one of the biggest bands in rock n' roll. Still are, in my mind. Rock on, gentlemen, your songs are still magic. They even sang "Almost Cut My Hair"-an anthem from my youth when we had to wear short-hair wigs to work at Safeway.
this blows away every young band i see these days...the young bands songs suck balls and are forgettable...the young bands play with zero -passion....
this is a great clip and these guys should go to an island and just write some songs and then record them the old way..no computers..no studio musicians..use the drummer they have here..he is great...plays like they did back in the day and have steven play bass, hammond and all guitars...

Just saw them 6/6/2010 @ Ironstone Vineyard and they brought down the house! As long as they can tour, I'm so there!!!! I'll be rockin' with these guys when I'm in my 90's!!! I love you guys!!!
well, they've finally pitch-corrected Stephen... he was singing consistently flat with his hearing loss issues and the rumor is he had a stroke or brain-related problem that caused his speech impediment, so this is probably one of those very few cases where I would say it is appropriate to help him out, but Crosby & Nash I don't think need the help (yet). Still, fun to watch these guys and close your eyes and think about the amazing work they've done.
Stephen Stills always got his chops in guitar. I'm glad that he got his voice back after all these years. He is still my hero. Bring back the good old days of Woodstock era.

This is a perfect illustration of how classic rock should sound and be played, and by the original front line dudes no less! That's Joe Vitale on the drums by the way, not Dallas Taylor. Joe did a fantastic job throughout everyone's performances that night. A smooth, solid diverse drummer can make a HUGE impact on the sound quality of music. Just listen to the detail of his chops and feel the bass. Anything but boring. Nice job!
