  • I have one exactly like it with only one exchanger bolted to the top. Made in Rockford IL, I wouldn't trade it for all the new digital, energy efficient heat systems in Mexico. Although the same, unlike this one, I have completely rebuilt mine, re-caulked all joints and painted it up fresh and bright. I have no doubt it'll run 75 trouble free years. There's always heat regardless of electricity. And with the burner removed, it'll even accept wood or coal.

  • Looks like a coal fired vertical sectional with 3 heat exchanger cleanout doors and tie rods. also has draft control at the bottom and passive damper on top.

    looks like hot water system not steam.

  • Not rare at all here..... I see one weekly.

  • if boiles can last 90+ yeas why cant newer one last so long
