Haha it's only normal that you freak out whenever you put your contacts in. Your eyes are the most sensitive part of your body so your eye lids will want to twitch and do whatever they can to protect your eyes.

@xonazoLx Don't be I'm 13 (almost 14) and I tried them out for the first time today ... had to try a few times before I got them in. Just a little tear when I put them in but no irritation :) (Seeing my face without glasses was a huge shock btw ... lol) Now I only have to take them out tonight

Appreciate this, I never thought to hold my eyebrow/lid out and up in order to make sure I don't blink and fold my contact and be unable to put it in.

i like this vid cuz its pretty helpful. but i heard that if you put it too much on ur cornea (white part) it can drive up ur eye and really irritate u.

Instead of grabbing your lashes just use the opposite index finger and pull up on the top lid, and use the finger right next to your index finger with the contact to pull the bottom down, then just pop em in. You should try it, thats how i do it. Much easier

i like how u use your thumb to lift the lid...it seems a lot more comfortable than using the index finger ,,,,which is what the optometrisr showed me last week....i knew that there had to be another way,,,,to cut the time down of getting them in. i have deep set eyes....so i really have to OPEN WIDE.

a trick i use if my contact lens feels dry is basically suction the eye. take your pointer finger and middle finger and place them like an angle with your eye in between. give a light squeeze until you feel a suction sound. thats the contact lens. i think of it as "giving your eye a breath of fresh air"

ok, i've just gotten used to putting my contacts in and you're the only person i know that cleans yours how i do!! lol, maybe other people do it that way too...not sure. but anyways, i usually find it hard to get my contacts adjusted but lifting the top lid and then closing definitely helps better than what i was doing so. thanx for this, even if you are a contact wearer, it just shows that you can always learn something that makes putting them in a WHOLE lot easier!! Thanx!! =]

Like i got colored contacts (gray) on Saturday, September 26, 2009 and i was really happy. But when i tried them on, its like kinda blurry towards my nose. I dont know why. When i put on my clear contacts, everything is fine. Can someone please help me?

are you wearing the right size contact lenses? it also depends on the brand and how sensitive your eyes are. But to me it sounds like the size of the contacts. Look at the diameter size between the clear and the color ones.

Wow, this might be easier. I can't keep the top lid out of the way with one finger, its too agile lol. Ive been sneaking them under my eyelid, only pulling the bottom lid out of the way. I'll try this way tomorrow and see how it works for me, I have really sensitive eyes. Thanks.

Have you considered colored contacts? They would really bring out the colors of your eyes. Just go to Fresh look colored contacts, and then go to Fresh look color studio, then choose a girl at the bottom right corner, then choose CREATE, ENHANCE, or DISCOVER. I'm telling you, you would look great in ENHANCE

I'm 11, Ive went to the eye doctors 5 times, (im not kidding) for contacts. I couldnt get them in. I also tried going to different places but i still cant. The eye doctor once put it in, and told me how to get them out...But i couldnt so he had to get them in and out for me. Do you think I even waited months to do it again and still. Am I too young? Or will I never be able to put them in?

I think you will be able to get the hang of them eventually. Maybe waiting a little while is a good idea because they are a big responsibility. Don't give up though! :o)

tht happened for me too. i got them last summer, nd they wouldnt go in. so i stopped wearing them nd jus stuck to wearing my glasses, nd i tried them again a few months l8tr nd they went in.

I would totally recomend trying contacts!!! I'll admit, they are a little scarey at first, but once you get the hang of them they are just another every day thing.
