Do you know reason why Sr. because big oil companies they are doing everything to delude people with every means they have on their arsenal TV, RADIO, and some small minded scientists which they value money more than scientific facts. But how you can see scientific facts are undeniable what is happening with our environment and it will get worst each year to come. It seems to me big oil is pushing for self destruction for all human kind!

For contrast, add up what it would cost to generate 100% of the Earth's electricity from solar energy, and include local (neighborhood, and individual residence) battery storage. Then subtract another $10Trillion dollars, (which is what oil, war, other bullshit will cost us through the next 10 years).

These two totals should be around 3 orders of magnitude apart. In fact, the total for solar should be a negative number.

Sr. there to many small minded people live in this country! They don't realize carbon dioxide is not just will hurt does which are showing concern about the global warming but also does which are ignorant like an animals about that subject. That people don't have way of reasoning if you showing concern about the environmental damage that you are communist. they are not made of iron, time is getting closer they will have good dosage of that medicine within 5 years.

@Levon9404 the argument about global warming, cap and trade, etc... is a complete waste, and has done nothing more than keep people from buying solar panels and wind turbines for YEARS...

Let's hope he has succes and we see a electric mustang or corvette in a couple of years .... i really like the electric option but is not real for my needs ... i drive almost a 100 miles a day and really fast ... with ac on an loud music ....

So for this project to succeed, you need clean water, (otherwise, membranes fill get broken). Question ; is there enough clean water now in the world ? (No there isn't.).

Of course with enough clean energy, you can clean water. I'm curious, what will happen. And Daniel Nocera, doesn't have a prototype yet ? Hmmmm. He must be very shure of himself. Promising, hope he and his friends will succeed.

@budge415 Yes I understand he can use ocean water, or waste water. But he also says, he doesn't have a prototype yet. A collega of mine, is in the watertreatment bussiness, and he told me that different type of waters, need different type of membranes. There isn't one type of membrane that works for all water types. I realy hope he solved these problems already. Nocera has done the most briliant invention of this century, till this day, I think.

Is this the energy-revolution that will indicate a worldwide revolution for social concern?

In two years , mass produced energy-converters will save all of us, if indeed this project will succeed, not in a technical sense, but in social-structural sense!

The only organisation who can provide the worlds people with the right information is the Zeitgeist Movement.
