there are affects on his voice. It's called reverb. he does have a gorgeous voice though. It's a subtle voice affect that has nothing to do with pitch but it affects his tone a little. The mix on this song sucks. His vox are mixed way to low until the around 2:30 when he comes in and sounds differently. I like both parts. I love Kaya. Wish I was his boy/girl/angel or whatever he'd like me to be :)

The one from the Limited Edition is a little softer, a little longer, and is really...almost haunting. But it's beautiful!

Just saw Kaya in concert! Granted, it was a concert that had nothing to do with his music (he only sang french songs!) but damn, his voice is good live too!

I really don't think there is any other J-Rock singer that can match up to his voical skills. I never said there is a "best" singer in any genre of music. Not every singer has a distinct style and voice. I can point out countless American female mainstream singers who sing with the same voice, in the same tone and the same pitch. It's called MARKETING. I am comparing these two singers based on someone elses previous comment based on range, skill and overall talent with their voices. I am not a Hyde fan, because Hyde's singing tends to include an array of vocal flaws (Based on acapella.)
